  1. I don’t believe the Brewers will trade Adames. Now if Yelich is out for the year maybe Robert or Vlad jr could be possible. Not sure the Jays will trade Vlad. Would definitely do something like Black/Quero plus to get Vlad.
  2. Frelick pitch goes down the middle of the plate and weakly pops it up. Frelick should be way further down in the lineup.
  3. Wiemer has no value he is a throw in only as he is valued around the league as a 5th OF at best. Rodriguez wouldn’t be enough on his own and it will take a bit more than you think. There is a lot of demand for pitching this deadline more so than normal.
  4. I think you can remove Skubal and Crochet as possible targets for the Brewers as the Dodgers and Orioles will outbid the Brewers for those two and possibly even the Padres. You can also cross off Flaherty from the list. I don’t see the Brewers having much interest in him the injury risk is too high there. From the first four that leaves Fedde but I am not sure he would be worth the haul of prospects needed to give up. I still believe Kikuchi makes the most sense here for the Brewers. He won’t cost as much as Fedde and doesn’t come with the injury risk like Flaherty does.
  5. I don’t know why but I think this team will exceed expectations. Granted the expectations for this team is probably just barely a top 25 team. I think this team will get a few surprise wins this year.
  6. Marjon was just absolutely awful in the summer league. I don’t see how he gets much if any playing time. He would probably be better off playing in the G league over sitting on the bench. He looked awful at both ends of the court. Piss poor defense and absolutely horrible offensive play. He definitely didn’t show any improvement over last year.
  7. I would love to get Puk. The Marlins tried him as a starter again and it failed horribly. He will probably be the best available reliever on the market and will take more than some think to get him away from the Marlins. You basically have to ignore his first half stats as a starter. Would probably take someone like Black and another piece to get him from the Marlins.
  8. That is a play Chourio wasn’t making earlier in the year. He is really starting to get comfortable watch out!
  9. Frelick doesn’t hit for enough power to be a #2 hitter. I would prefer Chourio or Ortiz at the #2 spot. I think Chourio is better at #2 and Ortiz at #5. Frelick should be the #6 hitter. I like Turang better at 9th in the batting order.
  10. Chourio really starting to get comfortable at the plate now.
  11. That was some bad defense there. Should have just let it go and hope it goes foul there. No need to go after that one. Near impossible to get an out there unless the 3B or Catcher gets it.
  12. Could also be the shift no longer being a thing and the models haven’t updated. So a play that would be marked as an easy out is no longer an easy out but Turang is making these outs. So he doesn’t get a boost when he should be.
  13. I agree just let the player be who they are. If they fail then start making changes otherwise just let them be who they are.
  14. If you sort by WAR from ‘94-now it goes Rodriguez, Bonds, Pujols, Trout and Chipper as the top 5 for hitters. For a list like this I think you need to separate the hitters and pitchers. If you use WAR Braun doesn’t come into the picture until 70th just behind Jose Reyes. People have to remember Braun was absolutely horrible at 3B defensively. Braun’s career D-WAR was only 1.5 better than Nelson Cruz.
  15. Yeah I don't see much if any playing time for Marjon.
  16. I am going to repeat this again. It is not the participation in the combine it is taking the physical at the combine. The physical at the combine is not mandatory. We do not know if he did or didn’t take the physical at the combine unless that has come out which I have not seen anything stating he has or hasn’t.
  17. Middleton had surgery on both ankles but is expected to be ready for the beginning of the season. Right now with Middleton I will believe it when it happens. https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/basketball/news/bucks-khris-middleton-undergoes-surgery-on-both-ankles/amp/
  18. Marjon is going to get no playing time with Doc. So he will have to learn by sitting on the bench? I don't see how the Bucks don't trade Marjon at this point. As he is going to be used right now by Doc as a garbage time player. So the Bucks have already given up on Marjon.
  19. I am going to assume this means Beauchamp or Connaughton get traded or both now.
  20. Trent to the Bucks in a one year deal. https://www.nba.com/news/bucks-gary-trent-jr-free-agency
  21. Not sure the A’s would want Black either. I think they would be looking at AA prospects over MLB ready at this time. If they get someone back who is MLB ready I think that would be a throw in piece.
  22. There will be seniors drafted today with or without the first pick savings. Just go back to last year’s draft.
  23. Unknown at this time. Unless someone knows he took the physical at the combine.
  24. Pre-draft as in at the draft combine. Payne was at the combine it is unknown at this time if he had a physical at the combine or not.
  25. Pre-draft physical not physical participants. This is because of the Mets and what they did with Rocker in 2021.
