    Mobile version of this site sucks especially on an iPhone using Safari. Even with the paid for subscription the site still wants to load ads in Safari which causes Safari to go insane and will bug out. Though it has done this less lately. It used to be every other thread or reload. Now it’s only once or twice a day. I think it’s the ads that try to track and get metadata from the browser which Safari blocks by default.

    Rich Paul no unless he had something to do with it. They could ban him from being an NBA Agent. They will definitely hit the Bucks with something if they find anything. How many first round picks will the Bucks lose is the question here.

    If you were hoping for a Skubal trade get ready to be disappointed. The teams reportedly in on Skubal and have reached out to the Tigers are the Cubs, Braves and Rays. The Dodgers haven’t reached out but are known to have some interest reportedly. The Red Sox haven’t decided if they will sell or buy yet. This maybe a last minute decision so you can check Gray off the list. The Marlins are also in a similar position. Who does that leave then? Good question because it could be a very dead trade deadline.

    They wouldn’t punish him for the previous contract it would be for the current contract. The Bucks would also lose first round picks plus a fine. The player becomes an unrestricted free agent here and the players union has no say. Trent may have to pay back something but I don’t think he will have to in this scenario. It’s unlikely that Trent will have to pay anything as I don’t see a payment scheme to move money around. The contract may also stand and the Bucks lose picks.

    It’s probably a long shot for Carson but I hope he makes it.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if the Trent deal gets voided and the Bucks get hit with a fine for manipulating their cap for the 2024-2025 season. See the current investigation of the Clippers and the Kwahi trade being suspended. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bucks get their first round picks stripped from them if the Trent deal last year was a wink and a nod type of a deal. See the Joe Smith scandal from the 2000 season.

    I mentioned no stats and brought up how both of them pitch. Both Peralta and Sproat will be pitching ahead and then all of a sudden the count will be at 3-2 and the at bat then ends with both pitchers throwing 7+ pitches. I'm not even sure why I am responding to you as you are just contrarian to be contrarian.

    Sproat is basically Freddy Peralta. The first three innings can be a wild guessing game of which version you are going to get. Sometimes he will be pitching ahead and then all of a sudden it's 3-2 on three straight noncompetitive pitches. When he is rolling he feels unhittable and just rolls through the lineup to later then hiccup and gets ahead of a batter and then some how walks or gives up a base hit on a very hittable pitch. The Brewers basically traded for a younger version of the pitcher they had in Peralta.

    It’s reported to be a major league contract. I am going to assume Harrison to the IL and Woodruff to the 60-day IL to open up a 40-man spot for Wilson.

    The problem with trading players like Skenes with multiple years of control is that you won’t get back the value you really need. While Made for Skenes is equal value wise it would take more than that for the Pirates to trade Skenes. Including more than Made for Skenes doesn’t make sense for the Brewers and only getting one prospect back for Skenes regardless how good the prospect is, is just not enough for the Pirates and wouldn’t make sense for them.

    If Miller were a SP sure but he’s a reliever. So I wouldn’t do this trade. Even with the years of control I’m just not interested in trading Fischer and Williams for a reliever.

    The Giants are not trading Webb. He is the one guy the Giants have said is off limits. You would have to overpay to get him.

    If the Brewers are to draft him it would have to be with their first pick. He should be gone by the supplemental picks.

    Ryan makes the most sense here but that is going to be at a huge price. I'm not sure the Brewers will be willing to pay that price. If it wasn't a mutual option I could see the Brewers trading for Ryan.

    Plus it removes another team that will need SP. The Cardinals needed SP and bullpen help. Them selling helps the Brewers out more than them buying. While I would love to see the Cardinals buy just to get a WC series and then eliminated would help the Brewers long term but I don't think they would have done something dumb and traded for someone like Skubal.
