cabrera's gameday picture makes him look about 45

Yeah I know that fans on this board and other message boards can be a bit fatalistic when it comes to our teams, but with the Brewers in RISP, it is hard to overstate how bad they have been. I hope that they can reverse the trend a bit for the rest of the season

nice job by weeks there. off to a good start!
  4. datrain711
so we're back to the normal suppan huh
  5. datrain711
wow what happened to isringhausen...that was an awful appearance for him lets go dodgers another base hit.

I'm trying my best to not put this all on Fielder, but seriously Prince at least act like you are sorry it happened.. "Its not like we hate each other, at least i don't" oh that's refreshing. and why 2 hours before the game hasn't he talked to Manny yet? If Manny said something to Prince about his defense I'll give him a little slack but if this indeed was about Manny going to the clubhouse it is beyond absurd that he blew up that way, and then offered a non-apology today

Fielder says he should have handled it better http://blogs.jsonline.com/brewers/ my take on this is he's saying sorry without being sorry. but only my opinion

boy our offense is very frustrating right now. Once we get past Hart I have zero confidence in runs being scored.

here's my hope for tonight: lets put an end to the black hole in our offense from the 6 hole through Rickie. Its getting bad enough that I only expect us to have a chance to score runs in certain innings, and when Hall Cameron and company hit, i'm just hoping for some walks or something. come on brew lets get some offensive consistency

a bad one to lose, lets hope we come out sharp tomorrow.

a bunch of seemingly ice cold hitters will have to heat up in a hurry. hopefully wild marmol makes an appearance. and hopefully we don't swing at bad pitches
  12. datrain711
this is our opportunity right here. I don't want to have to rely on cameron and kendall to supply offense
  13. datrain711
ok lets get a few, we still have a great chance to win this game

i'd probably be the best manager in baseball, provided that I could go back in time with my brilliant hindsight observations http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif but in all seriousness, no. we love to rip ned and other managers, but none of us have the experience needed to get the job done. I'd love the chance to fail, though!

my 2 favorite moments were Braun's double on May 1st against the Cubbies and his homer the other night in St. Louis

I understand that his contract is going to give him a bigger leash than some other pitchers, but now is the time for the Crew to start exploring other possibilities.
  17. datrain711
come on manny do it for us tonight!!
  18. datrain711
4-3 would be acceptable considering 4 of the games are against the best team in the NL
  19. datrain711
better off long term, yes. but you have to balance that against the desire of the Brewers to get into the playoffs this year. And a prospect at this point is just a prospect, not proven Major league talent. We did get the reigning Cy Young Award winner, too. I guess I like the team showing that they are willing to take some calculated risks for the chance at the big payoff.
  20. datrain711
manny parra also deserves mention, although he has been getting more praise lately.
  21. datrain711
marlins are doing their best imitation of the Brewers with runners on base. pathetic
  22. datrain711
we destroy this guy at Miller Park, so lets hope we can jump on him early so we don't have another nailbiter. go crew
  23. datrain711
Man I find it hard to believe you are saying this after what CC has done since he's gotten here. When the trade happened, were you against it no matter what CC did?
  24. datrain711
alright lets agree it was a bit over the top, but it was a HUGE moment and he is still a young player. I'm not excusing it but I don't think it was THAT bad. Hopefully he wears some body armor for that 2 game set later on this season though.
  25. datrain711
i agree Braun was out of line there. However, I'd feel a little worse about it if Prince didn't get plunked twice last night.
