Oakland would match up very well with the crew for lohse. Get Renato Nunez and maybe ynoa.
  2. Kelbysdaddy
Torts- Allie has been impressive with his power but nearly a 35% k rate in the low minors isn't very impressive.
  3. Kelbysdaddy
Norris is available since he won't be "cheap" after this year. He starts arbitration after this season.
  4. Kelbysdaddy
I had nothing going on today. They could have at least announced this yesterday.

A-ram will likely be out an extra 10-14 days after he is able to come off the DL apparently. Looks like he's staying.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Boston go hard for one of our relievers very soon. Bailey is going to be out for the rest of the season now and they'll be looking for a 8th inning guy.

    July 23 Mike Gonzalez Atlanta

Braun shouldn't say a damn thing. The mlb (funny- when I typed mlb, my autocorrect inserted mob in its place) is just going to keep throwing ryans name out there to further smear his reputation because he made them look stupid. I'm really tired of all this stupid rumor leaking. Lmk when something that will stick is announced. How can they give him 100 games for a second failed test when he only failed one that was compromised.

He signed for over an hour longer then he was scheduled to at the clubhouse store in miller park last year. Not really chatty but he stayed and signed for EVERYONE. He's aces in my book.

Hey, if Detroit doesn't want Garcia- he'd be great to pick up for Frankie or ax.
  11. Kelbysdaddy
Towers said he wasn't going to trade Bauer also.
  12. Kelbysdaddy
Skaggs hasn't been great in the majors but the potential is definatly there. owings k:bb rate is TERRIBLE. He's been nearly 7 to 1 through the minors. Holmberg/spruill/davidson is a nice package if towers don't budge from skaggs.

Anyone with an extra lucroy t-rats bobblehead want to swap one for a snappers bobble from a couple weeks back, pm me. Thanks

I think they should keep Henderson. Just sayin.

Why would you take elier hernandez straight up for aoki? I know that kid has pretty high ceiling but so do haniger, taylor, and roache. A of in the low minors is the last thing we need.

There is no way Detroit deals castellanos for axford. I like the idea of sending ax to the tigers for a guy like Jake Thompson though. That would be a fantastic return.

The rockies really have nothing to offer. Arenado would be awesome but he's too big a part of their current team. Arizona is the way to go. Skaggs /Davidson / holmberg or meo would be nice.
  18. Kelbysdaddy
I talked to him at the park a couple weeks back and he said he might be able to set me up with one for 400.

The dodgers are buying now to salvage some of their fan base and prepare for next year. everyone they seem to be targeting is under contract next year. Edit- I just saw that they are going hard for nolasco. That's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
  20. Kelbysdaddy
I have an extra Gomez bobble from today's game. Looking for an aoki bobble.
  21. Kelbysdaddy
I picked this up a couple weeks back http://i411.photobucket.com/albums/pp192/kelbysdaddy/img587_zpsc40be43d.jpg[/url] I like it. A lot. I'll have a bunch more to show off within the next few days (even a couple nice autos from the enemy).

Revere plays for the Phillies. If you want to get really depressed, make the same comparisons with the cardinals, who have had much more success drafting behind the brewers.

Macha > Roenicke WHAT??? Macha was the worst manager the brewers have ever had. He had no clue what the strengths of that team were. He had no guts AT ALL. I used to get so mad watching him just stand in the dugout with that stupid smug look on his face. I can only remember him arguing anything like 3 times. He didn't understand his team and had no desire to figure them out. He was total garbage. I think roenickes problem is that he is too cautious for the style he wants to play. He has also given guys too long a leash due to what they can do, instead of what they are doing (ax,weeks, nyjer). A team like these brewers needs a gutty, scrappy coach. Someone like Bob melvin would be great with this team

I go to dunhams for bats. They are around 30 but if you sign up for their email list they send you 15-20% off coupons like every other week. They also have romlb most of the time.
