    i completly agree on him not being necessary, THAT is why i agree that he should be traded. i'm sure the return for him would be pretty good. most on here want him delt just because of his contract. we still have PLENTY of time to trade him. i'd bet his return would be pretty good at next years deadline as well.

    i'd really think hart would fit with pittsburgh. his contract is pretty good and they are looking for either a 1B or OF and hart is both. i'm a big fan of corey but if we could get marte, bell, heredia, or locke for him i'd hope they'd listen.

    weeks is having a bad year. his timing at the plate has been off sooooooo badly. he is a leader and was an all star last year. he's also under control for a few more years and can easily fix his issues. a-rams deal really isnt that bad. its pretty on par for the veteran player he is and in 2 years,with the way contracts are being thrown around, the money probably wont be all that outrageous.

    i see olt being very expendable for texas. beltre is under contract for a couple more seasons and they drafted gallo this year(who doug should have gotten) who is another power hitting 3b who could be ready in around 3 years.

    maldanado staying is whats best for the team. i doubt george can cut hair.

    doug seems like he has a better grasp of his job now then he did when he made the carlos lee trade. i'm just crossing my fingers that the phillies get hamels extended or they decide they'd have a better shot at resigning him if they dont trade him.

    They also swapped their balance picks and Miami also gets a good catching prospect in rob brantly and seemly pretty good sp prospect Brian Flynn.

    apparently the dodgers and cubs are working on a deal that will send garza to la and a package including zack lee to chicago.

    Delgado for a rental may be a good thing for the brewers. Now chips are going to start to fall.

    There was some talk last week about a red sox- marlins trade that had hanley and heath bell going to Boston for Crawford and a high level prospect. I doubt wed get hanley for a nobody, let alone have Miami pay a bunch of the salary.

    I was hopeful that the crew would draft cron last year but Im not sure he'd be worth trading for. He seems really slow and doesn't move well, even for a 1b.

    If dm doesn't move soon I doubt wed get the pitching package wed all like for aram since they are likely getting dumpster and the cubs are looking for young pitching.

    shields isnt much better(if at all better) then marcum and half the board complains about giving up lawrie, who at the time had no real position and nothing but attitude problems. lets say trade martin and another of our top guys to the rays for him, maldy keeps hitting and changes his last name to molina- the whole freaking website will melt down.

    kottaras should be able to get at least a decent player from the low minors. if wolf has a problem with george getting traded- tell him he should pitch better

    If we cant get profar, they have a pretty decent ss prospect in rougned odor. Hes a few years away but looks to have a lot of potential.
