I mean if you want to do the rookie in a pressure situation thing, this was the game you do throw Priester. You have two more chances so he gets the lowest leverage start. -
I just simply cannot feel optimistic about this. I don't know how anyone can. This team has absolutely ripped our heart out for the last 8 years.

Wasted a bullpen that will be asked to do this all over again. Probably twice.

Can't say Turang should have bunted or I would have made him. He's one of the guys you trust to bring that run in. But it's a situation where the bunt sure makes a lot of sense.

It's a slippery slope. Losing tomorrow on the road feels very plausible. Then it's a game 5. It's baseball. You go down 4-0 in the 1st and you're in trouble. The quicksand sinks you fast. I don't play, so I don't matter, but this game was the one I felt the most confidence in. Was hoping the Cubs just weren't up for it and would go quietly.

Prior to this game beginning the most encouraging thing about this series was that Turang has sucked and Frelick hadn't done much and we were still up 2. They should probably get going.

Yuck AB from Jackson. Say what you want about the lineup but it's the meat that isn't getting it done.
