  1. You don't cost/benefit to see if Boxberger is worth $3M. You review to see if Box is worth $2.25M. The buyout is a sunk cost. At that price, and assuming Taylor Rogers is gone, I would think the Brewers retain him for one more year.

  3. So other than some rust and some bracing (that I never notice), why exactly is AmFam not a good place to play baseball games? I must have missed some real reason for a move?.,.. Is there a need for more luxury boxes or something that generates more revenue than what we currently do? If maintenance is taken care of by the sales tax, all ownership is going to care about is, can we generate more revenue with an upgraded ballpark or new ballpark. If the answer is no, then there is no reason for this article.

  5. How does the International League stack up regarding hitter vs pitcher parks? I know in the past we were in the hitter paradise PCL.

  9. The AFL is most assuredly NOT MLB pitching. I like Hiura too, but the kid hasn't played a second of AAA baseball. He may fit into the back portion of this team's contender window, but I doubt he does right now. I guess I don't know what you consider to be our contender window. But I would not spend too many resources on a 2B, as I think Hiura can be up fulltime in June. I'm not expecting Braun's rookie season, but I doubt he would be too much over his head. Pair him up with an aging lefty stick to take some righties and we are set.
  10. Looks like Yamamoto was injured to start the year, but pitched great in 13 starts in June - August. Is up to AA at age 22.
  11. http://www.todaysknuckleball.com/knuckleball-news/rays-trade-cash-jaye-chapman/ This article thinks we don't get anything of consequence. I assume Chapman would be up when Torres, Boyer and others were moved. Then I assumed he would be up for at least the three cheap years. I assume the PTBNL is if he get so much time on the Rays major league roster. Chapman seems like he had more value than a maybe bottom wrung prospect. Or was Chapman not doing well for Colorado level of pitching?
