    I think so too...but CC loves him some LRLRL action at the top of the order. I'd be okay going Frelick-Contreras-Yelich-Adames-Santana-Canha... or flip-flopping Canha and Adames.

    He's got a $10M mutual option for next year...those almost never work out but I'd think the Brewers might go for it, which would at least avoid the buyout (I think) if Miley declines...

    I'm not smart enough to do it, but I would like to see an in-depth analysis relating % of RBIs from HRs to % of RBIs from non-HRs versus total runs scored, with K% with runners on base worked into the analysis (and GIDP% as well to compensate for the negatives for making contact). If anybody actually followed what I mean in that paragraph you are awesome.

    Yeah...particularly since that is the way the rotation lines up if it's a normal 5 man rotation from here on out. We will find out on Thursday when it would be Burnes' scheduled day to pitch... though I don't think he (or the rest of the staff) have gone on 4 days rest the entire second half of the year. If Burnes makes that start, then the off day the following Monday would give him 5 days off before throwing on Wednesday, then 5 days off again before throwing in game 1 of the NLWCS.

    In some/most sports I'd say sure...but this is baseball...and sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

    YIKES...honestly, I figured YouTube would have the radio edit for that video I linked. I only remember the tag-line (I definitely CanHOT even call it a "chorus"). ... I do remember hating JA Rule when I was in High School and then hating Jay-Z at the same time by association...then re-thinking my Jay-Z hate...but now I'm re-thinking my re-thinking...

    The Luke Fickell "energy" since his hiring has turned into "nervous skittishness." I get the heebie-jeebies watching his press conferences. While Chryst made me fall asleep, Fickell makes my eyes start darting back and forth and "flinching" at every slight change to the senses...

    Yep. Especially if we have a competent DH in Donaldson or Canha or Tellez(?). With all of the off days in the playoffs there really isn't a need for Wild Bill to get rest (as DH), so we need to get Burnes comfortable with Contreras back there. Since Burnes calls his own game with the pitch-com anyways I don't see how this should be an issue whatsoever.
