  1. What if I told you that Houser wasn’t a starting pitcher? Man do I hate that we have forced this.
  2. If you get yourself caught up in the minor league rankings, I can see why you would get frustrated. But if there's anything over the past decade that shows how just looney tunes that is, it would be to trust those rankings as if they mean something. The Brewers have brought along a ton of player and received value in just about every avenue. And it is a big reason for their recent success. I stopped getting caught up in names awhile ago because they are just that. Names.
  3. I think Domingo is rather stinky but I would also rather see him than Jace Peterson.
  4. It is so easy to be negative right now. This season over 162 games could have went poorly too but to judge anything during this mess is just not a good way to go about things. If anything, the signings that did occur do not hurt us for any year other than this season so we should be able to take another run at it come this offseason. I mean, we are bouncing off back to back playoff appearances. These types of threads and complaints are hard for me. It comes off poorly considering how terrible this franchise truly has been.
  5. I applaud that he didn’t light money on fire with re-signing the players that many wanted. Those guys aren’t doing any/much better in most cases. We have one-year deals, and for the most part are not hamstrung going forward. Other than the Cain deal, and possibly Yelich, this team is in good financial shape. He will find talent. I believe that.
  6. Signing a player off a big injury never seemed smart and could really tank us as a franchise. This could really suck moving forward.
  7. If for one season, maybe. But I don't know. He does some pretty annoying things. But again, for one season... maybe.
  8. I don't think I would judge either Garcia or Narvaez just on what we have seen this season. There are a lot of very good players, including our own, that have absolutely stunk this season. It is a weird season to say the least.
  9. I wonder if Hader was affected by all the trade rumors. Maybe he just had a bad outing but timing makes sense.
  10. They showed him in the dugout ... wearing a polo shirt. He’s pissing me off to say the least.
  11. Alright Hader. Please be good. I want to go to bed at a normal time tonight.
  12. He isn’t available If he can’t muster up a couple of swings put him on the DL then. It’s ridiculous.
  13. The best teams in the league still lose to the worst. It’s baseball. It’s usually why folks tune in.
  14. That injury has really setback Yelich. This could tailspin on us if he doesn’t start having some success.
  15. It's easier for me with not having a minor league season. I just assume Ray and Taylor aren't better options based on whatever they're doing in Appleton. Compared to last year, when Hiura was raking in AAA while Travis Shaw was up here looking like he had forgotten how to play baseball. I can’t imagine how Ray or Taylor would fair any worse than Peterson.
  16. It’s just hard to root for a Jace Peterson. I mean, he has no business being on this roster. So when he’s up in a spot like that, while it benefits the Brewers, I almost want him to stink so they move on already.
  17. I think we just filled 3/5‘s of our rotation starting in 2022. Going to be weird having 3 aces but it’s a good problem to have.
  18. @BrewersFarm mentions that all 3 had a K-BB% above 25% last season in rookie ball. Only 8 MLB pitchers did that last season. Could very well likely be a big reason why they were targeted.
  19. Wheeling dealing Stearns at it again. This thread will be fun to look back at in the future I bet. Not that the main players in some of this madness ever own up to their (over)reactions.
