  1. Boy would this be a great trade if they can make it happen. Smith could be the answer at 1B while giving us another younger/controlled player.
  2. The problem with Hernandez is that he doesn't play anywhere but 2B. Now maybe he is open to doing more but he just hasn't throughout his career so far.
  3. Doesn't this pretty much apply to NCAA football and basketball as well? Heck, 90% of college football games have ridiculously high spreads and aren't competitive at all and you go into every season knowing that OSU, Clemson, and whichever SEC team makes the playoff are about the only 3 teams with a chance to win it all. Yeah, it is why I don't follow much of either of those sports. Badgers are about it for me. I can't even remember watching the National Championship the past couple of seasons. It just is strange to me that a lot of these leagues like the NBA/NCAA have such a strong following with the way it is set up. I mean if you are not a fan of those top teams, why bother?
  4. The NBA is as exciting as it’s been in years, certainly more entertaining than the NFL. Why bother posting in here if you don’t follow it? Just craving attention or what? I follow from afar for the Bucks is about it. I seriously wonder why it has such a strong following. The top teams will win just about every night and will meet up in the finals. What suspense is there with the league? It's not at all competitive for the most part.
  5. If he could play 3B, I'd be for it. I just don't think he can.
  6. Now if the Broncos weren’t the Broncos, this thing would all be just about wrapped up.
  7. It’s great that the Bucks are so good and winning all the time but what a boring league. Why does anyone follow it?
  8. Roster needed a turnover. Good stuff.
  9. A roster that I was told repeatedly last year was terrible. It pretty much every IGT. A roster that had an obituary written for it on this site. in August. A roster that squeaked into the playoffs on the back of an otherworldly hot streak. I'm kinda interested to see in what direction our GM goes with this. Yep. He’s giving the fans what they wanted.
  10. The original poster is a dope and continues to prove it each and every post. But yes, please defend him because you’re also not happy with the beginning of the offseason.
  11. Cutting Guerra and Claudio makes a lot of sense considering how over used they were a season ago.
  12. Step away from the keyboard... LOl what else do you expect him to say?? he's not going to come out and fully admit they are cutting payroll...they can just not sign FA's and give the standard "we tried"(like they did with Grandal line) and some of you incredibly guillable, DS slobbering fans would believe it. I don't get it. Were you all Ted Thompson fans too?? Where did his being frugal leave the franchise?? Besides what does DS define as being "competitive"?? Competing for a playoff berth, world series, just not being terrible?? Now you’re just trolling. You get it straight from the man himself to not panic and yet, here you are using Bob N. to try to make a case for Stearns not doing his job. Time to put your big boy pants on and relax a bit and let the off season play out.
  13. Yes! Love me some Arcia.
  14. Good luck to Nelson and it sucks what happened but it’s not worth it with him IMO.
  15. Yes because we should make our decisions based on one playoff series. Should we get rid of Yelich based on that series as well? Huh? Who said that’s why we got rid of him? The deal in itself is why he’s no longer a Brewer. Figure it out guy. He’s a Red. He’s now the enemy and will be treated as such.
  16. This thread has been as hilarious as this deal. I’m so glad we have a GM with a brain. Moose is an average ML 3B. Getting attached to a guy that forgot to show up against the Dodgers two seasons ago is a bad idea. Next!
  17. PSU and Wisconsin are probably as close as you get this season. Either team can rise up and beat really good teams and either team can stumble and look like they don't even belong in the top 25.
  18. If you ain't crushing a team in this trade, then you don't trade Hader.
  19. Is Doug Pederson going to get fired?
  20. Boy has Rodgers missed a lot of people open this year. It’s becoming a problem for this offense.
  21. The Eddie Lacy look alike is simply terrible at returning kicks too.
  22. Yes, even with the INT, King stinks.
