  1. He’s 24. He’s no young buck. Let the kids play!
  2. What’s this guy gotta do to get a shot? He’s got to be getting restless in AAA knowing that he’s been passed up by Hiura and now a longtime scrub like Tyler Saladino gets the call instead of him? Wouldn’t be surprised if his agent called Stearns demanding a trade!
  3. I’m glad we stick by players. They gave him ample time to figure it out and he didn’t. The Brewers don’t have the resources to give up on good players. Hopefully Hiura isn’t the butcher I think he is going to be because he sure can help our offense.
  4. Why in the hell would Cain be batting 3rd? Especially against RHP where he’s been horrendous. And then he bumps to 9th against the hand he’s actually good at hitting against? Yeeezus.
  5. End of an era. Aguilar should have went but with the IF depth I guess I get it.
  6. Cain didn’t break out of the box well. Needs to pep up even though he’s struggling.
  7. Aguilar slapping singles is okay but really doesn’t do much. He needs to find the power stroke to really add something of value.
  8. Shaw hit one to the track and lined out to left as well.
  9. Pina shouldn’t be going anywhere. He’s a good backup catcher. Poor Dubon can’t catch a break. Was about a week away from being our 2B last season and got hurt. This year he’s put up great numbers and probably won’t be the guy either.
  10. A few more weeks of this and this thread will really be heating up.
  11. I mean look what CC and Greinke did for the Crew...Their rotations were nothing special, but all of a sudden those two come in, and it boosts the whole club in each of those years. They did their jobs. The other four guys in those two rotations you speak of did theirs. Why isn’t SF rotation mowing people down since they have MadBum? Your logic just doesn’t add up. Our rotation is a dumpster fire and grabbing one pitcher won’t cut it. Until the guys from within stabilize (if they ever do) the smart play is to sit out on the trading for players. Heck, my thread about selling players is looking a lot more likely each game we see this rotation take the mound.
  12. How many arms do you want to trade for? As many as possible. But really, all it takes sometimes is 1..but it better be a stud. That can sometimes shake an entire team out of a funk. We've seen it before. When?
  13. Why would we think Houser would be a good starter? Nothing in his minor league career really indicates it. Just put Burnes and Peralta back in there and build towards the future. This is just silly. Fire Hook already.
  14. This does nothing. Never has. Never will. Nothing positive ever comes from those types of media interaction. They’ve made their decision and explained it. Disagreeing with it is one thing but badgering them about it because you disagree with it is pretty silly. Disagree completely, because their explanation is fine the first time they gave it back in early May and again after they brought shaw back up after a handful of rehab starts in early june, but at some point as CC indicated a decision contrary to their position needs to be made - so they've essentially admitted to their initial plan being the wrong decision. Even if they believe they’ve contradicted themselves they’re not going to get in a battle with the people they depend on to work with for coverage. It just won’t happen. This isn’t New York as much as some want it to be.
  15. I can see why my 400 level ticket didn’t even see for $5 tonight. Woof.
  16. Maybe they should sign Kawhi. He seems to know how to win.

  18. Counsell Answers the Question
  19. Yeah but when is MA going to open up his wallet a bit?!?
