just got finished watching the new episode of "Chuck." Nothing about the story, action, or comedy bugged me. But the little things they just can't get right. Case in point: Chuck and Sarah, on a balcony overlooking the French countryside, watching the sun set over the horizon in front of them. A few hours later, they are on the same balcony, overlooking the same French countryside. But this time watching the FULL MOON rising over this exact same horizon! C'mon, folks! That is impossible to occur! Always bugs me when they can't get the moon right. Just ask my wife; I've been moaning for years about the Disney commercial with the mom & dad booking their Disney vacation on their computer as their kids are asleep and then suddenly being awoken by Disney characters and the pumpkin carriage outside their house. So what do you see in the sky? A waning sliver of a crescent moon . . . that in real life would only be seen as the sun is RISING in the morning! Okay, enough lunar ranting. EDIT: Hah! Right on cue, we're watching Hawaii Five-O and they air an updated version of the aforementioned Disney commercial. This time they ride in a pirate ship under a full moon. So, no lunar hijinx this time! Typical, though, that I'd rant on something from 2-3 years ago and then within an hour or so, I get put back in my place with their answer to my complaint. Wonder if my house is bugged . . . .
