Ask Kevin Towers how trading away an extension of an MVP type player with 3years control left is doing for him? They got their potential Ace among a bunch of potential Ace pitchers. What looks to be a SS/3b of the future and some middle of the road guys at this point. The deal wasn't even the best he was offered just the one that he accepted since Upton invoked his no-trade clause on him to Seattle.
-
Why would it be a terrible image? You're basing that off of Jeff Loria's countless deals like making 1 move or two like that ruins the view of the franchise. It's not like Milwaukee is a historic franchise to begin with in terms of being a winner. Teams do 1year signings and trade-aways all the time. It's half the Cubs team this year is it not? I would think Gomez and the rest of MLB players would see that the Brewers made the move to better their club when having Logan Schafer to replace Gomez. It'd be something else if we traded away Gomez and then stuck some waiver wire guy out there as our CF after signing an extension like Loria did. It's business, the Brewers I'm sure would thank Gomez for his time and accomplishments here. Tell him, they had a flawed view on their Starting Pitching and for the benefit of the Franchise came to the conclusion that Carlos was the best asset to help it succeed. Tell him he should be proud to have "Earned" that distinction.
-
How enviable is the Braves starting Pitching? Only Hudson has a higher ERA than our best in Lohse! But Atl has another #2 in Beachy waiting to come off the DL and then there's Alex Wood. This is kinda the wonder in rather than sign Gomez to an extension, to have attempted to trade with Atl for Teheran and maybe Wood. Imagine Atl then? Us then? Atl would have kept their 1st rd pick/not have to deal with Upton. Brewers with Teheran and Wood would have been looking good right about now rather than what it is. Now it's a matter of can Melvin/Mark A. agree to do what's best for the team by trading away Gomez for a high ransom.
-
Well for Slot allotment reasons, 4th would be the best to draft from as it drops 751k to 5th which 6th drops 251k as well as 7th then 8th it drops only drops 109k. So the difference drafting 4th taking say a 7th type player can leave the team with 400-800k in savings that can be used later draft picks to sign away a high upside guy from College. So I'm rooting for 4th worst. But most likely we do the worst for allotment and finish 8th where it's not much difference going down in order from there.

Gallardo/Aoki to Texas?
brewcrewdue80 replied to 3and2Fastball's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
Why is what Aoki does with the Bat so-so? Whatever it is, it's better than Elvis Andrus atop the order. It's better than David Murphy. The topic was also stated as a scenario of Nelson Cruz being one of the 100game suspended players thus creating a sudden huge need on a team with non-impressive OFs to begin. Someone said Texas is run to well....Well, they sure screwed up signing Andrus to that 8year extension over just trading him away this offseason and letting Profar take his place. Just dumb on their part. And now they get to work magic fitting Profar in their lineup playing OF I read and there's Olt, who when he's going has no place on the team either. Meanwhile they cant field 2 solid OFs overall while needing 3 out there. Is it realistic? Well, I said they get 6years from 2 players while losing 6years of team controlled Profar. My other question is, Is Profar truly a #1 prospect in all of Baseball? Is what he going to do make us talk like Miquel Cabrera 5-10 years from now? Or is it that he's just rated that high because for a 2b he's above what is out there or normal? But really among this year's top 100prospects does his next 5-10 years play out to be the best? top 10? Top 40? Puig already looks to be the class of 2013 prospects. Profar hasn't OPS'd above .900 in the minors yet. He's got CS next to those SBs, which leads me to believe he's a 20-30SB guy for a year or two and then you barely see 15 out of him ever again. Is a 2b who OPS's .850-.900 with 20/15 numbers really worth all the hype? His BA is .280s. It'd be something if it were .350+ making his climb but it's .280s. I have a feeling Profar will never live up to expectations unless they are pedestrian at 25HRs/15SBs at .280-.300BA and OPS in the mid 800s. But isn't that what Brandon Phillips? Aaron Hill? What Howard Kendrick/Kelly Johnson/ and Ben Zobrist are capable of doing? Jason Kipnis potentially? I just feel he's blown out proportion vs. what he's done thus far in his minor league career. How many here would take Profar over the top 15 SP prospects listed: Bundy,Walker,Wheeler,Cole,Skaggs,Yelich,Taillon,Bauer,Hultzen,Bradley,Syndergaard,Martinez,Zimmer,Sanchez,Gausman? sure maybe 5 of them you would do it but I'm sure 10 of those 15 you would take over Profar. -
Gallardo/Aoki to Texas?
brewcrewdue80 replied to 3and2Fastball's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
That's why I mention Profar being reasonable for Gallardo and Aoki. Throwing in another prospect. I said Gallo but that's just with filling in Club needs in mind. Numbers wise at 18 the Guzman kid is intriquing as a 1b prospect. Tall Lefty with projectable power who already hits for average. Already playing at A ball. Seems like a heckuva 1b insurance to have after Morris. Yes you would like to acquire pitching, But who says we cant flip Profar to a team the Rangers maybe didn't want to deal with and then get that pitching? Or you roll with clearly a better offense and hope a trade of ARam nets a SP who can make the team in a year. When it comes to impact pitchers or really Ace to #2 stuff, I think it takes Gallardo and Gomez to make it happen. I hope ARam can acquire a #2 SP type in return. Aoki I like and think he's worth a top 100 prospect he just is likely a hard sell for a top 100 prospect with high upside. More high Floor or really a #3 Pitcher skills maybe higher but I don't see a top 15 Pitching prospect coming in return for him. Which would be the cutoff line around Gausman and Barnes. You get around 25 and it's Ventura/Biddle/ and Paxton Cody Buckel and Martin Perez are mid 30th in Pitcher ranking Prospects from Texas. If we trade with Texas, I'm simply looking more for Bats than I am in Pitching. Cant get Profar or Olt? Well Roughned Odor, Luke Jackson, Guzman certainly seem like high ceiling players to go after that the Rangers may not be locking away as untradeable pieces. You take those three with Taylor/Haniger/Roache/Coulter as a core of hitters with 1 pitcher to pair with Braun/Segura who knows where it leads? Then again I go with Gomez bringing 2 impact pitchers from somewhere else..Seattle/NYMets in offseason you suddenly have a lineup of guys to look forward to in a couple of years. -
Truly wishful thinking no? If the team makes the trades it should look to do then yes I agree there's a slim chance to pass Miami for worst in Baseball record-wise. As for Houston, it's a team long in rebuild mode, and they should at some point begin reaping the benefits or their top selections as well as all the trade acquisitions. So, I believe they can improve throughout this season in growth and with our fall surpass us. There is a big bonus to being bad these days, in that the Brewers could land #1,31 plus potential for 2nd or 3rd round competition lottery pick so end of 2nd talking 60s and first 3rd being 65ish. This, in supposedly a draft that has rated higher talent. How long would it take to get Rodon to the club? lol. But seriously, the club has been beset with injuries, failed pitching and failures in offense compared to expectations among talent. Yes Segura/Gomez exceed expectations but not enough vs. the lack of fulfilling expectations. A Healthy team with better pitching should perform high enough to keep away from a top 3 draft selection if not top 5. Anything in the top 6 should be wanted vs 7-12 though. Club sells off Weeks/ARam/Gallardo/Aoki and trades away Gomez offseason there's room to maneuver a Free Agent signing and with acquisitions in trade plus the draft have quickly a brighter future than the one today.

Looking Through a Crystal Ball
brewcrewdue80 replied to brewcrewdue80's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
Coming back to this: Seattle. Dear Seattle: I can't help but notice you're having an interest in Justin Upton. Clearly it's due to a complete lack of OF depth coming up in your system. Meanwhile your Infield depth and Pitching Depth is gaining quite a bit of momentum. Well, I would like to exhibit to you one Carlos Gomez. He's a 5tool guy. Super fast with elite Defense. Something I'm sure calling Safeco home would greatly appreciate. Looking over your roster situation and prospects I wonder if we can work some kind of deal. I would propose a deal involving Gomez for 1 of either T. Walker. or D. Hultzen. I would also propose trading either Nick Franklin or Brad Miller to us in the deal as well as Tyler Pike. I am willing to part with Scooter Gennett to be a reserve 2b behind your current 2b Ackley. I believe you will find Gomez to be a heckuva CF for these next 3years and potentially beyond if you extend a deal with him. I'd also be certain he would fit the bill for a QO if you were to lose him to Free Agency so in reality you gain another 1st rd pick when you lose him. Seeing as your OF prospects are baron maybe 3 years from now that will have changed and the service you get from Carlos won't be needed then. Either way, I think this is a very good deal for both clubs filling needs each has. Well, at least the Brewers hope so, we know you are getting a MLB All Star Player. We hope to get an All Star year or two from the prospects we attain. -
Gallardo/Aoki to Texas?
brewcrewdue80 replied to 3and2Fastball's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
So because he got hit in the head with a pitch and didn't light the world on fire in limited ABs when Texas called him up to ride the bench last season he's not a top prospect? Segura hit .209 through his first 72 ABs in August and he had the benefit of playing every day. Olt had all of 33 ABs in 16 games over 2 months last year... I think your expectations are way too high, established MLB players don't consistently produce over the course of a season playing every day. I didn't say Olt wasn't a top prospect, he is called out as one, but after misplacing him on their roster last season vs. everyday ABs in AAA and then the eye issue this season, that's about 2 seasons of lost progress. He'll be 25 before the end of the season so you're looking at age 26 being his realistic 1st true season immediately following 2 seasons of inappropiate usage/ ie lost value. Clearly Texas mistepped by trying to keep him and not include him in trade, he's probably not in the top 40 prospect in opinion now and the signs are there that he could be complete bust at this point so why trade for him? I am fine if Olt proves me wrong in wanting to overlook him currently, I for sure begged, begged that Olt be traded to our team for Grienke with Perez plus some other player. But now? He's lost so much momentum and time, that I don't think he's worth the risk taking on while giving away Gallardo/Aoki for. Like WTP said above me^ I'd trade Gallardo to Boston for one of their 3b/1b prospects and a SP first then to take Olt plus a Pitcher prospect from Texas currently. -
Thurston let me give you the examples from this offseason that Gomez is worth not just a high impact pitcher but at least two! Ben Revere. 25yrs old. 0 career HRs. He was traded for this offseason and cost the Phillies Trevor May AND Vance Worley. Denard Span. 29yrs old. Coming off of .738-.687-.679OPS seasons. Not a Defensive star like Gomez yet, yet he still netted Minnesota a top 60 prospect named Alex Meyer. Nothing those two have done in their careers compares to basically Gomez last season's worth of games. Gomez is 27 so right in between both of them. Gomez has always been an excellent defender, and that alone to me makes him worth a top arm so long as his bat played in to the lineup. Nevermind that now Gomez's bat and speed on the Basepaths are playing to the top of the lineup. That earns another Arm now. 2 high impact arms for Gomez from another team should be the return. You have to remember Gomez's defense is such a huge benefactor for whatever team he plays for and not get caught up in whether his bat history deserves a high impact arm. His bat just needed to play itself into a lineup, his defense and potential power/speed was so high it just required his bat to keep him in the lineup for that factor to pay off. It's all come together and for 3years of Gomez in his prime....What he provides 5tools? This is a 6+WAR player every one of those years now. AllStar years. Gomez's defense improves that pitching staff alone, again losing an impact pitcher and keeping an average pitcher who's likely gaining 1out vs. a hit every 2 starts because of Gomez. Who knows how many runs saved that is? Could be none. Could be 4 or more in that game. Carlos Gomez is a top 25 maybe up to 15-20 OF in all of Baseball today. Being 27 that shouldn't change in the 3 years he's still under contract. And he's Still Improving! 1 team losing an impact pitcher when impact pitching may be abundant or affordable to lose while gaining a 6+WAR CF with Elite D over maybe their Replacement level CF they have currently. Why trade away the impact pitcher? What good does it do if his CF is maybe average? Or have a negative impact on the team? A front office should look that over and say, my top pitching prospect does me no good when I have nothing coming up to play a legitimate CF behind him. If that guy doesn't help defensively or offensively what good are the impact pitchers on that team? I truly believe Gomez is worth a lot. Just based on what Span and Revere netted this offseason. Just based on Atlanta giving up their 1st rd pick for BJ Upton who Gomez clearly is better than now rather than hoping he reaches equal ability. Those 3 players weren't shooting up in skills like Gomez is currently and the team acquiring Gomez in trade should feel better than what Washington,Philly, and Atl got back in return for their CF.

somewhere I posted it's strictly a trade move. Sitting Weeks at least twice a week should reduce his Full-Time Starts at 2b for someother team to a pace under 600. He sits now at 550ish pace and was at 600 just when Scooter was called up. We're approaching a point here where Weeks can play everyday risk free of 600PAs this season. Maybe Scooter is sent down here shortly when Estrada,Narveson, and/or Burgos return from the DL and playing Weeks everyday won't hurt his trade status for whatever team asks for him.

Gallardo/Aoki to Texas?
brewcrewdue80 replied to 3and2Fastball's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
I don't know about Olt how he stands after (did he fix?) fixing that eye issue. Perez just doesn't seem to have it. Put it this way, he was I wanna say a top 10 prospect in all of baseball and now doesn't even crack his club's top 5. He's been given the chance to play on the ML roster and it hasn't been pretty. I will say that Profar(alone?) or Profar and Gallo for Aoki/Gallardo seems fair. Rangers would have 6years of Aoki/Gallardo after this season so giving up 5+controlled years of Profar shouldn't be looked at in a dim light. I'd ask for Gallo just based on what good does he do for the Rangers currently? Olt is a 3b/1b for 6years, Gallo won't have a place on the team when he should be ready in 3years or less. They also have a kid by the name of Ronald Guzman that is now being worked as a 1b. It sounds like he could turn out special. I will say that if the Brewers could work out Gallardo plus Aoki for Profar. I think Profar would completely open the door to trade away Gomez then for Pitching. And then the ARam deal brings a Pitcher and suddenly the team has something fresh to talk about. -
Speculation only out of Detroit - Axford
brewcrewdue80 replied to Jim Goulart's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
I don't claim to know the arby system well, but I would bet he would say he wants $6M and he would win. Fully agree, I'd guess the offer would need to be about 6mil from the Brewers, Axford could probably make them sweat asking up to 7.5mil. Especially if he continues his improved trend of late. -
Impact pitching can be MLB ready or a year away but that doesn't mean they make an impact for that team once called up. You likely see 4ish ERA their 1st and/or 2nd seasons and then they develop to low 3 ERA pitchers. I feel that saying impact pitcher, guys are immediately assuming a guy like Miller/Harvey who succeed at once and thats not going to be the case with every impact pitcher. An impact pitcher is someone who should offer 185+ innings with 3.5 ERA or less. Recent pitcher success in MLB makes that sound non-impact but it really is the true expectation.
-
This isn't going anywhere in conversation. Trading away Gomez who we have for 3more seasons. We have Schafer to replace him for 3 years or longer with Taylor and Haniger in the woodworks. Now we can trade for high, high impact pitching for Gomez, saying a team doesn't want to trade those guys away isn't looking at that teams big picture. A high impact pitcher that is 2-4 years away when that team has needs for this season to 3years from now. Gomez is a guarantee talent. The high impact pitching prospects aren't. How's Jacob Turner doing? Gomez has to be viewed as a top 25 OF in all of baseball. In his prime. I feel there's an undervalue going on with him thinking he can't land 2 impact pitchers. One maybe a ready today/year away another 2-4years away. On Aoki, teams need leadoff hitters. A cheap controlled one? He's certainly worth as much Choo was.
-
Boston's super overachieving team is showing signs of crumbling. Would a ARam and/or Gallardo trade be worthwhile with them? Everyone is high on Matt Barnes but he's certainly disappointing in AA. Cecchini could be the 3b of the future if Boston missteps and trades for this season. I was really down on Boston(last place expectations in the East) and their hott start may make them short-sighted to compete this season when they really should be developing a core. The team is set-up to remain competitive if they just wait it out but again, do they feel the need to stick it to the Yankees and go for winning the Division over them/Baltimore? What about taking Middlebrooks from them? I know he's struggling currently but if they take ARam and aren't willing to part with cecchini we still solve the 3b issue of ARam leaving? Middlebrooks was a 50ish rated prospect 2012 and may just be under too much pressure in Boston? Boston in that deal gets ARam for the 2 years it takes Cecchini to reach the team.

Speculation only out of Detroit - Axford
brewcrewdue80 replied to Jim Goulart's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
So, MLBTR fails to mention any of the Brewers RPs we are discussing, Axford,KRod, and Henderson as potential trade targets for closers. Instead saying Glen Perkins and Steve Cishek are high return in trade closers to target. Jonathon Papelbon and Rafael Betancourt are targets if made available. So either are guys aren't interesting to name for RP/Closers or we're old news on being sellers and they name these 4 as new trade talk. Now, looking at the players Cishek and Perkins you question why trade them? Perkins is signed to a team friendly contract through 2015 and 2016 option. And he's performed well throughout his career. So yeah if you trade him it should be for a top 30 prospect. Cishek is 1st year pre-arb. On a rebuilding team why trade him away so early? Papelbon and Betancourt shouldn't be traded either from their competitive teams. Why would the Rockies trade away the players helping their club? Anyway just curious the piece does state the following teams in need of closer: Tigers and Red Sox As well as buyers being Giants, Orioles, Padres, Diamondbacks, and Reds mostly for SPs. -
Speculation only out of Detroit - Axford
brewcrewdue80 replied to Jim Goulart's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
PFX..CF is Austin Jackson who Detroit still has 2years control of. And Avisail Garcia was one of their top prospects playing in his place. And Castellanos isn't enough for Gomez alone. Detroit doesn't have enough prospects(high Ceiling) to trade for Gomez. Detroit didn't have any 1st rd picks in 2011/2012 and 2009 had Jacob Turner, 2010 Castellanos and Chance Ruffin. Tigers don't have high upside talent really in their farm system after Castellanos, Rondon, and Garcia....Probably adding 1st rd pick Jonathon Crawford to the list. My wonder would be, is do the Tigers trade away Rondon for say Axford or Henderson? K-Rod being a half season rental I can't fathom getting much in return for at least nothing B Grade or higher. And as we know Our Farm is stuffed with C Grade Prospects. I'd still take a young C grade prospect over K-Rod to finish this season, if for the fact maybe you can include them in other deals or if they add depth for a future move. Now, again getting creative, Tigers aren't very secure in RF and that is where they are sneaking in Castellanos as quicker way to make it on their team. Depending how effective he looks out in RF, if he's a complete bust, maybe they could trade him away for say Aoki and Axford. But, no that doesn't work with Martinez and Hunter on contract through 2014. I really am lead to believe if we are talking trade for Axford then maybe it's getting Rondon in return(you wonder if he's a sour apple in the clubhouse?) This with Tigers, may not wanting to go through the maturation of him while in the midsts of a WS worthy team. -
As I recall, when I looked at Baltimore's prospects in high regards its Bundy,Gausman, and Schoop that's about it. The rest are what Weeks or even Yuni can fetch. It's why Baltimore can say we want a frontline starter after those 3 there's no concern on loss of talent. Anyone that sells their pitcher to them w/o gaining 1 if not 2 of those three are getting their a$$ handed to them.

Here's the thing about how great will Wheeler be, is how good is Gomez? He's arrived. 5tool player. Currently tied with Machado in WAR #1 position players. The Current Mets CF is just under 0WAR. Gomez Defense will make the Met's staff better, he makes any staff better face it. So while the Mets have mostly a 0WAR staff, they likely jump 1WAR or better because of Gomez. He makes losing a future Ace worth it. Maybe everyone is right Wheeler won't be available, but if he's becoming less considered a top Ace like Harvey is today maybe it's better to get Syndergaard and Montero. And by not getting Wheeler there's more than likely another prospect, say Tapia thrown in the deal. Between my ideas for KC and the Mets trade, I really feel the organization would quickly have a brighter future and Arms to expend!
-
That goes with what I argued why Gennett needed to be called up. Look at Joey Votto. Here's a guy who bats behind someone 2 spots lower in the order behind Choo who has a .400+ OB. Votto has only 33RBIs while carrying over a .300 avg batting in the best spot to get RBI. His culprit? BBs. So arguably one of the best hitters in the game, carries just an avg ML RBI rate to PAs. It all relies on the player behind him then to capitalize on being walked. Batting in the top 4 in order that can be expected. Batting 7th or 8th it's not going to happen all to often. So it doesn't surprise me Gennett has as many RBI in 10 games played over Rickie's accumulation in the last month. I guess in a way the argument against Gennett not being special is overlooked how special he is if he can bat .300 in the bottom of the order driving in guys batting 5th/6th and 7th. Rickie's walks are all well and good and they definitely help his OPS. But when the time comes to it, and he needs to drive in Runs in situations that give him the chance to, too often he makes an out or takes a walk vs actually producing runs on the board. That's not good when the batter behind him is even worse at producing runs than he is. Edit Adding: Look at Yuni's production to start the year. HRs certainly helped him, but still he was batting .276 with all his 8HRs and 24 of his seasons 31RBI in the team's first 30 games. Since then he's hitting .153/.182/.198 in 115PAs with 7RBI. Truly Sad.

Perfect Trading Partner- KC Royals?
brewcrewdue80 replied to brewcrewdue80's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
Cuthbert for Aoki would be the deal I dangle. Of top 3b prospects I see and could try to acquire he looks to be one of the better ones. If KC would take Gallardo, you could be lead to believe in Ventura and Mondesi in return. And again, Gallardo's contract fits with Shields, going for it this year and next. I really look at KC and their team makeup, and you can make the moves this season or wait and go for it completely next season, but beyond next season, you are looking at them very questionable beyond. They're a team that has had many failed prospects and I think the FO could legitimately say to their fans, "We seen an opportunity to compete for Playoffs and Division, as our fans should know we can't rely on having a "strong farm" as many haven't panned out. We liked what we saw in our current roster and felt Aoki and Gallardo were the missing piece we could acquire not only for the remainder this season but next season as well. We get both a quality top of the lineup bat, and another Front of the Rotation arm" Again, if the Brewers took Francoeur away, it helps KC in payroll this year compensating for Gallardo and making Gallardo's 2014 and option seem more team friendly. I think they'd part with their higher prospects that aren't going to help the team this season or next... Basically anyone not named Starling and Zimmer.(Which seeing Zimmer's results thus far isn't pretty) -
Perfect Trading Partner- KC Royals?
brewcrewdue80 replied to brewcrewdue80's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
Royals 8-2 last 10 games only 5 games out of wildcard. They have a bunch of games vs Cleveland coming up before the trade deadline and if 1 of the 2 dominate those series of games I think that team is in the buyer mode. May have to look at Cleveland's roster to see what their needs are if it isn't KC then likely Cleveland as AL Central Trade Buyers. -
Scooter Gennett gets called up to MLB
brewcrewdue80 replied to Invader3K's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Looking at the Boxscore today and yesterday, that is 9PA and 22pitches thrown to Gennett. That is very Yuni-like and I'm a little concerned he's going up there swinging at every pitch. Now, sure being new and not thought of highly power-wise, pitchers likely are just throwing strikes letting him beat them with his bat. I'd just like to see him take a few pitches too, have some longer PAs. Anyone paying attention to his ABs, would you say he's swinging at good pitches to swing at? Or is he just swinging at anything and happens to make contact? This would fall in line with the concerns of Scooter taking BBs. If he's not seeing 4pitches or more from time to time in his ABs then clearly, he will never give the pitcher an opportunity to walk him. This can be acceptible if he's still batting above .280 but clearly it makes him strictly a #7/8 hitter on the team. And that's fine as someone has to bat 7th/8th it just means you are left with 1 more spotty offensive player then for your lineup going forward. leaving little wiggle room in roster management. -
General thoughts on the franchise.
brewcrewdue80 replied to logan82's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Thurston, I don't get how he's harming his development, if he's given the PAs. Meaning everyday 1b. Maybe with Francisco you are able to sit him down vs. Leftys but still that's not going to be enough games sitting where he's stunting his learning. I personally think it is better to see the player get his feet wet if the need arises to use them. Then, when sent back down, he can focus and working on anything that was exploited in his time up. Without the pressure to perform for games that matter. At least I'd tell individual players, when you're working on fixing problems to better your game, don't worry what effect it has on our AAA team's games. I still just don't get protecting service time on players that aren't projected to be pretty much Long Term Everyday Starting Players for their Position. Moves are made all the time, trades, the draft, development. Players drafted this year could reach the team in under 6years at their position. So if Morris or Gennett aren't guys that you see as everyday starters for over 6years then why wait to use them? Especially now, beyond the service clock time where the remainder of games this season won't count as season 1. You have them for 6 more seasons no matter if you play them now or to start next season. It's a lost season on both clubs, AAA and ML record-wise. So, give them experience!
