  1. Adames atoning for those errors and then some.
  2. Should be fresh, think he threw more punches than pitches last night.
  3. Pretty much the funnest three quarters of the season. Would be insane if they could force a Game Seven at this point. Turn off all the lights in the arena and let Giannis walk out to The Underaker’s entrance music.
  4. Saw that too, especially in the profile. From straight on I think his head is a little more square.
  5. Your eyes do not deceive you. According to Strength of Schedule on ESPN the Brewers have had the 4th hardest slate so far (.550 W%) while the Cubs have had 2nd easiest slate so far (.452 W%).
  6. Luis Urias hit 239/335/403 (104 wRC+) with a 10.6 BB% and 21.3 K% with the Brewers. Joey Wiemer has hit 200/277/351 (71 wRC+) with an 8.6 BB% and 28.7 K% with the Brewers. Still not seeing the similarity.
  7. I don't think Rivers is going anywhere. They are already paying Budenholzer, Griffin and Doc something like $20M combined for 2024-25 season, don't think they'll want to add a fourth head coach salary to the ledger.
  8. Small sample so far, but StatCast has him at +2 Outs Above Average on the year. He also only ever played 15 games in RF (4 in AA, 4 in AAA, 8 in Winter League) coming into the year, so still learning on the job there too.
  9. Transcribed all stats from the FanGraphs leaderboards. Link should go to AA and you can navigate around from there.

  14. Even though we are still very much in the Small Sample Zone, with the day off today and end of the month tomorrow thought it would be a good time to make note of some of the top performing hitters and pitchers at each level. Will split each team into separate posts to break things up a little bit...
  15. Luis Urias is a 5’10” infielder from Mexico whose biggest asset as a prospect was his hit tool. Joey Wiemer is a 6’4” outfielder from Ohio whose biggest question as a prospect is his hit tool. I guess I’m struggling to see the commonalities here.
  16. I don’t think there were many people who couldn’t wait to unload Taylor, just some who understood that his combination of age, cost, remaining team control and production made him the most likely to be moved over the offseason out of Yelich, Chourio, Frelick, Mitchell, Wiemer and Perkins. It’s great to see Tyrone carrying over his hot hitting from down the stretch last year into the start of this year (137 wRC+ | 0.4 WAR), unfortunately Houser (8.37 ERA | -0.7 rWAR) has undone all that and then some.
  17. Koenig pitched three of four days totaling 5 IP and 72 pitches, he’s going to need more than one day off. There was also no way to know that yesterday was going to be a blowout before the game was played.
  18. Looks like Zero Club hopeful Brian Fitzpatrick ran out of gas after 3.2 IP of 3 H | 4 K relief work. Will Childers is on to try and nail down the 5-4 win with a runner on first. And catcher Ramon Rodriguez nabs Won-Bin Cho trying to steal second to seal the TRats victory.
  19. Nashville falls 9-3. Isaac Collins (2-3, 2B, HR, BB) had another big night while Vinny Capra also went deep and walked.
  20. Eduarqui Fernandez has been on fire for Wisco going 3-3 with two doubles and 3 RBI. They’ve just tacked on two more runs top of six to take a 5-4 lead.
  21. Kaleb Bowman (2 IP | 1 BB | 3 K), Sam Carlson (1 IP) and Justin Yeager (1 IP | 1 BB | 1 K) all went Zero Clubbing to help the Shuckers secure the 4-3 victory.
  22. Boeve has hit his 3rd double of the night to give Biloxi a 4-3 lead top of nine.
  23. Welcome to the board. Wiemer is the only healthy OF left on the 40 Man roster. Yelich, Mitchell and Roller are all hurt. Brewer Hicklen and Isaac Collins have both been hitting down in Nashville, but neither is on the 40 Man so it would take some shuffling beyond just sending Wiemer back down if they wanted to call one of them up.
  24. Two out rally going bottom of six as Tayden Hall doubled followed by KLN and Luis Castillo walks. And a balk brings home Hall with Yhoswar Garcia at the plate trying to add on.
