Wow. Great win. Figured if they did win it would be a tight fight to the last possession type game, but to come out & run the hottest team in the NBA off their home floor (with no Midds to boot) was a pleasantly unexpected outcome for sure.

Much better first half than I was expecting, aside from the turnovers early. If Udoka can’t figure out a way to get Tatum/Brown going & Bucks can avoid their normal Q3 WOAHs, they could steal this one.

Between the Bucks struggles in afternoon games & Game 1’s of series, this looks like a pretty clear loss out of the gate. Win all the games at Fiserv & worst case scenario is a Game 7 with the season on the line. Steal one in Boston before then & well, that’s Bucks in 6.

Just gotta say it always cracks me up checking in on these threads that CAR/WIS/BIL all have the pro looking lineup graphic, then for NAS (the biggest budget operation by a long shot) it’s just like a phone picture of a print out.

Brewers 3B currently posting a 61 wRC+ (24th), Luis should be able to provide a pretty nice boost over that level of production. DBacks 3B are currently hitting 125/188/188 (11 wRC+), Last year pitchers hit 108/147/137

Team wRC+ went from 78 up to 90 after a half dozen dingers. Crush another Cubby six pack tonight & we might crack 100 by morning.

Yeah, Tonyan is maybe the biggest pass catching threat on the roster right now. If he’s healthy he could lead the team in receiving, but that’s a big if. Obviously they like Deguara but he’s been hurt both years so hard to count on getting much, but there’s clearly some upside there too. That’s the extent of my TE knowledge. Is Marcedes back? What’s the deal with the practice squad TEs?

Obviously it’s still early, but I think the Brewers only having STL as real competition should increase their chances of getting a 1st round bye. LAD has SF & SD to contend with while at least PHI is trying in the East besides ATL & NYM.
