  1. Henderson would be a little rich for my blood but I’d do CRod.
  2. Patricio Aquino kept Wisco in the game with three scoreless relief frames (2 H | 2 BB | 1 K). Jeferson Figueroa on top of eight trying to keep it a 3-2 deficit.
  3. Gillis has gone walk, single, K, groundout, walk to load the bases with two out in the ninth. Comes back with the three pitch strikeout to seal the win and keep his scoreless streak alive.
  4. Pair of singles (Jheremy Vargas and Tayden Hall) and a wild pitch have cut the Wisco deficit to 3-2 bottom five.
  5. Ramon Rodriguez rocket shot cuts the Shuckers deficit to 2-1 top of five.
  6. Up to three scoreless (1 H | 3 K) on the day. That gives him 11.1 IP with zero ER on the season.
  7. Di Turi walked, Blayberg single and E8 put runners on second and third. Wild pitch scores Filippo and an E4 scores Diaz to put Carolina up 10-1.
  8. NASH keeps scoring a run an inning, this time with a trio of walks setting up a Raynel Delgado sac fly in the fifth. After posting four zeroes Carlos Rodriguez has cracked in the fifth with two doubles and a single adding up to two runs in the bottom half. He’s just walked Tim Elko to put runners in the corners two out for his 100th pitch as Easton McGee comes on to try to put out the fire.
  9. Luis Lara single and Cooper Pratt HBP got a little something going here one out top of four but a Brock Wilken strikeout and Luke Adams flyout put on the kibosh.
  10. Biloxi batters are nine up nine down through three. KC Hunt put up a pair of zeroes to start the game before going walk, HR to lead off the third, Shuckers down 2-0.
  11. Anthony Flores was cruising through three before giving up a pair of bombs and three runs in the fourth. Eduardo Garcia answered back with a blast of his own to get Wisco on the board trailing 3-1.
  12. Oh, but that wasn’t all. Payne reached on an E4, Bitonti walked and a passed ball scored Alastre. 8-1 Mudcats. Something to keep an eye on. Braylon Payne had an injury delay after a foul ball earlier in the game and Tyler Rodriguez just pinch ran for him. Hopefully just a precautionary thing with the big lead. Believe Bitonti and Adamczewski also had injury delay/foul ball combos earlier as well.
  13. Meanwhile in Zebulon, Blayberg singled, went to third on an Alastre single, and scored on a Made groundout to make it a 7-1 ballgame.
  14. Anfernny came back out for a zero in the fifth (1 K) and Tanner Gillis followed up with a zero of his own in the sixth (1 K) with a little help from Luiyin Alastre gunning down a runner trying to stretch a single to end the inning.
  15. A walk (Raynel Delgado) a balk, a single and stole base (Adam Hall), another walk (Freddy Zamora) loads em up for Daz Cameron who comes through with the sac fly for the fourth Sounds run.
  16. Early cycle watch for Jared Oliva as he adds a homer onto his first inning triple to give Nashville a 3-0 lead. Carlos Rodriguez has worked around a single and three walks to put up three scoreless frames (4 K) so far.
  17. Blue Dot City in Zebulon as Alastre stole second, went to third with an error on the throw, then scored on a Jesus Made single. Now 6-1.
  18. Marco Dinges walk, Reece Walling single and Blayberg Diaz double have netted Carolina a third run bottom of four. Two on, one out for Luiyin Alastre who comes through with the two RBI single, now 5-1 Mudcats.
  19. Anfernny Reyes uncorked a wild pitch en route to walking his first batter in relief of Meccage, but then induced a flyout to get out of the inning unscathed.
  20. Nashville on the board top of one via a Jared Oliva triple and EMJ RBI double. & Wes Clarke has just left the yard for another run top of two.
  21. Braylon Payne walked, went to second on an errant pickoff, stole third, and scored on an Adamczewski sac fly bottom of one to tie things up at one each. Filippo Di Turi singled, went to second on a passed ball, then to third on a Reece Walling groundout before scoring on a Blayberg Diaz single to give Carolina a 2-1 lead. Bryce Meccage has settled in nicely after the first frame and put up a pair of 1-2-3 innings.
  22. Believe that was the "preferred" alignment towards the end of spring training but Turang started experiencing some shoulder soreness so they switched him back to 2B for the shorter throws.
  23. Since the 0 W - 4 L start, Crew have gone 10 W - 5 L (3rd) with a 2.54 ERA (2nd) while scoring 5.13 runs per game (3rd). Couldn't have bounced back much better than that (blown game SAT nite in ARI notwithstanding) after the ugly start. Hopefully they can keep it rolling here against the A’s before heading out on the longest road trip of the year.
  24. Kind of interesting looking at the worst teams 3B production to start the year on the FanGraphs positional leaderboards… 30th (PHI | -0.7 WAR) Alec Bohm hitting 167/178/194 (3 wRC+) 29th (MIL | -0.6 WAR) hey, look ma, that’s us. 28th (MIN | -0.5 WAR) Brooks Lee just came off the IL four days ago so should be moving up 27th (NYM | -0.3 WAR) Vientos (35 wRC+) has crashed early so they’ve started mixing Baty in the last couple days 26th (CHC | -0.3 WAR) Matt Shaw (47 wRC+) was just optioned himself 25th (CIN | -0.2 WAR) paying Jeimer Candelario $15M for a 30 wRC+ Even the mighty Dodgers (78 wRC+ | -0.1 WAR) have gotten zilch from the hot corner in the early going.
