  1. 0-1 with -10 run differential. Home opener
  2. We all got a little nervous with Devin but this might not be true except for the short period during COVID. Devin’s ERA was an arrow pointing down and to the right after becoming closer.
  3. I highly doubt the # 1 television play by play person in the country (Anderson) has any reason to pick fights with Bill Schroeder. If Anderson is actually a diva, he would have left Milwaukee long ago. Fair observations on their separation though.
  4. I was going to say the same thing! Always enjoy posts from @rluzinski
  5. Skenes threw 160.1 IP between minors and majors in 2024. He is only 16.1 IP away from matching that total this season. The last time Milwaukee faced Skenes, he was pulled after 78 pitches and 4 IP. Brewers won 4-2. Since that start on June 25, Skenes allowed zero runs in 5 of his 7 starts. All that to say, maybe Pittsburgh limits his innings today? 🙂🤷‍♂️
  6. Rockies and Rocky, nice.
  7. Chad Fox was in Milwaukee from 1998 to 2002. He was never healthy enough to become a closer. Six career saves. 2001 was his breakout year for the Brewers.
  8. Feel free to add photos of Brad Nelson, Scott Linebrink, or even Ken Macha. I’m going with one of the greatest 2.3 WAR seasons a non-closer has ever had for the Brewers (relief pitcher category).
  9. I’m not sure what Edwin Diaz normally looks like but this was him three seconds before coming back out for the ninth. Seemed like dread or a lack of confidence.
  10. No more days off for anyone for rest of the year. Woodruff on three days rest from here on out.
  11. Monasterio has .768 OPS against LHP this year. .780 OPS against LHP in 2023. He was just wasn’t that good in 2024.
  12. As good of a day as any to rest our left handed batters. All of whom could enter the game later against a RH reliever.
