Tyler Alexander on the bubble? We might have more pitchers than roster spots. It does seem like additional injuries (both real and imagined) sort this out. Connor Thomas?

    Devin Williams enters the game with a 3-0 lead in the 8th. Strikeout Walk Single Strikeout Walk Pulled for Luke Weaver Double Single Walk Groundout 4-3 Padres now. I probably would have left Devin in as loading the bases with walks and soft contact is part of the show. Anyway, 3 more ER to Devin. ERA back over 10.

    We probably have no business winning this division but I think we can improve. Even the wild card seems like it will be tough to qualify for.

    We just need to stay within arms length of the Cubs. I realize we are outclassed by Chicago today but the Cubs will regress. Their bullpen is still bad and I am skeptical their offense maintains this pace.
