  1. You should consider dynamic pricing on the caretaker subscription, based on how the Brewers are performing 🙂
  2. This is the only site I use to inform myself about the Brewers. Of course, I also use the MLB app, but that doesn’t count. You can generally ask the forum a question and receive expert or informed responses about just about anything, Brewer-related.
  3. Catcher is great Hoskins is fine at 1B/DH Turang has been amazing Adames performing well Oliver Dunn experience is fading. Ortiz fine offensively Yelich was MVP caliber Frelick gets on base, not much else Chourio has .656 OPS
  4. Do we have any offense levers to pull other than wait for Yelich to return?
  5. Did anyone beat 0.03% Paul Rigdon for Brewers/Indians? I liked the Sexson trade from 2000.
  6. I haven’t been paying attention. How are the Dodgers only one game over .500?
  7. Murphy does seem to only trust certain relievers. I’m overall fine with how the bullpen has been used, though. Until we start losing games 🙂
  8. Do we cut DL Hall any slack for windy conditions? Not sure if all those HRs otherwise leave the yard .
  9. That’s a remarkably close division. I do not understand what the computers see in Saint Louis, though.
  10. You’ll recall Counsell went 0-45 over a two month stretch that year. https://archive.jsonline.com/sports/brewers/126991728.html
  11. https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/HOU/HOU201108070.shtml Fifth game box score

  13. Certainly, athletes can squander money or be victimized. Conceivably, Ohtani is singularly focused on baseball and lacks financial acumen. Objectively, the speed of this investigation is unusual. Questionably, Ohtani never gave Mizuhara control of his accounts, per affidavit. Next sentence, Ohtani tacitly allowed Mizuhara total veto power of visibility to his accounts. 🤷‍♂️ Ohtani’s salary was deposited in that account, though he never gave Mizuhara -- whom Estrada said was “acting as Mr. Ohtani’s de facto manager” -- control over any of his financial accounts, according to the affidavit. “Mizuhara refused to give access to the account to the rest of Ohtani’s other professional advisors including his agent, accountant and financial advisor, telling them Ohtani wanted to keep that account private,” Estrada said. https://www.mlb.com/news/ippei-mizuhara-charged-with-bank-fraud-in-criminal-complaint
  14. It seems like more of a conspiracy to say ‘nothing to see here’ than a skepticism that there probably is information not being reported.
  15. MLB almost certainly has lobbyists.
  16. It would be impolite to openly say you are purposely manipulating service time. At the same time, it is a perfectly understandable strategy.
  17. If tickets remain unsold, they will lower the prices either this year or possibly for next year. I also assume cost inflation affects Major League Baseball teams on some levels, too.
  18. Can’t be worse than his ML debut when we still won?
  19. It is interesting speculation by the Brewers. Maybe they are losing money on parking this year?
  20. Since no one is required to attend a Brewers game, there really are no victims or impropriety. People decide whether the price of a ticket is worth it to them or not. There are many ways to lock in a price of a ticket for the season using 10 or 20 game packages. Or, buying single games far in advance. There are almost always affordable ways to attend a game. Dynamic ticket pricing is a terrific idea.
