It cant end soon enough. Roster really really needs overhauled in a big way. I am afraid with the Yelich deal it may not be possible. But gotta try.

Yeah. They paid him millions and then kept him around for his 10 years despite him being washed up for months. I truly wish they would have dumped him 2 months earlier. Very ungrateful. What a bum.

7 hits and 4 walks but only 1 run. You can't make this stuff up.
  4. wildcat2237
Yelich left with "neck discomfort." Hopefully not a dl stint.
  5. wildcat2237
    I'm going to go 8-1.
  6. wildcat2237
Boy is the offense putrid. I'm ready for Stearns to go.
  7. wildcat2237
Just tuning in. I see 4 scoreless innings against a RHP with an ERA over 5. Lovely.

Add me as +1 on the 19 being too low. The system may not be top 5. But is it at least top 15 if not top 10.

I was really really hoping for a sweep. However, I forgot the Houser/Alexander spot was coming due. Here's to hoping for a major offensive outburst and Alexander throwing some smoke and mirrors for 5 innings.

Williams doing his best to blow this game.

I'd be 100 percent fine with a bunch of trades and non tenders this winter.
  13. wildcat2237
Too bad they waited two weeks too long to bring up the kids. Ruiz and frelick should be on the next plane.

To make the playoffs in any capacity I think the team is going to need to go on a run. Something like 8 out of 9. I just dont see many opportunaties coming up to do it.

I live in AZ and try to attend as many games as possible. I live in Tucson (about 2 hrs south of Phoenix), but I usually hit 3-5 games a year. I am one of the few that actually enjoys ST more than the regular season. Cant beat mid afternoon games in March in AZ. The JS used to send Haudricourt and Rosiak to AZ and they produced a decent blog/notebook. I followed that religiously. I have no idea if the JS sends anyone these days. I refuse to deal with the paywall. I basically just get info now from Brewers.com and McCalvy. When I go to the parks I stop by guest relations and pick up any info. Count me in as someone who would eat up content here if it is professionally produced. For anyone in Wisconsin who has never attended Spring Training, It really really needs to go on your bucket list!

I'd really really like to see a laugher tonight. Something like 9-3. As stated above, a sweep here is absolutely necessary. The chances to make up ground are dwindling.
  17. wildcat2237
I was thinking probably 13-5. Going to need to get red hot sooner than later. Sadly, I dont think this team has the offensive firepower to get red hot. My prediction is something around 9-9. Hope I'm wrong.

Houser and his near 5 ERA against the Dodgers. This one could be fun. As YelichPosse noted, hipe its Dodger hardhat night.
  19. wildcat2237
Saw he was lit up and didnt even finish an inning in AAA. Didnt realize he was injured. W00f. Nice move by Stearns.
  20. wildcat2237
Tonight Hader with another meltdown. His era is over 5. Soto 0-3 with 2 whiffs.
  21. wildcat2237
Gotta think he's well on his way to being non tendered. Credit to Stearns for making the move at the perfect time.
  22. wildcat2237
Hader with another meltdown tonight. Gave up 3 runs and failed to record an out.
  23. wildcat2237
I am so very ready for football season.
  24. wildcat2237
This team is so bad. Watching this offense try to hit is downright depressing.
  25. wildcat2237
100%. Trade both of them and Williams. Would be a minor rebuild. 2023 wouldnt be pretty, but 2024 and later could be amazing if things work out.
