  1. I hear high fives and “now you have a better game plan for your retirement” in my nightmares.
  2. I should probably let this go, but Molitor didn't struggle with staying on the field "early on." As I said he played 125, 140 and 111 games in his first three years. Year four was a strike year where he played in 64 of 109, and then in season five, played 160 games and accumulated 6 WAR.
  3. Molitor, who averaged 125 games and accumulated 12.1 WAR in his first three seasons? That Molitor? The one who missed most of his fourth season but came back and played 160 games while getting 201 hits and scoring 136 runs while batting .302? Yeah, weird that I didn't think of Mitchell in the same category. Molitor gave them reasons to have patience with his play on the field. My all-time favorite player and I was as frustrated as anyone with his injuries, but it was because what I saw him do in actual MLB games that made it so frustrating.
  4. So you’re saying Brewer third base problem is solved?
  5. Since the opening week slaughter in the Bronx, the Brewers are a half-game better than the Yankees (43-32 to 42-32). Who saw that happening? And of course, 22-10 since the Cribbage board game. A friend suggested the cribbage board giveaway was this year's Harvey Kuenn moment.
  6. If the Brewers let Mitchell walk and he becomes an all-star somewhere else in 2027 or 28, there is no part of me that will regret moving on from him.
  7. I think Jimmy Nelson dove back to the base on a play like that. That did not end well.
  8. Miz has more wins than hits allowed. That’s almost impossible.
  9. I think it’s a safe conclusion. Move on from him.
  10. 100% of his runs allowed. And he’s allowed more runs than hits.
  11. It really is. That whole right field area is nice to hang out. I love downtown ballparks. Went to a game in SF last week. My favorite park of all.
