  1. I think that for the past 100 years the line has been in stone, and Manfred has decided to move it to sand. Sand, by its nature, is a great medium in which to draw a line, because you can always wash it away and redraw it in a different place. MLB could have left it in stone if they wished. They didn't. I have no doubt the line will continue to move, no matter how thick and how dark it is currently.
  2. I know I am a broken record on this, but the thing that is so frustrating is that the Brewers need Contreras, Turang, Hoskins and Bauers to see 18 pitches to score just one single run. One pitch later, the game is tied.
  3. That would be worse, wouldn’t it? It would mean his shoulder is the problem
  4. Wasn't the Priester trade payback for getting Shaw, Dubon and Pennington for Tyler Thornburg? Or perhaps a thank you for taking JBJ back?
  5. Didn’t you hear? Mitchell reached for a potato chip awkwardly and his torso exploded. They’re still looking for his oblique
  6. Just stop Vinny. “They (Guardians) haven’t earned any of these runs” they worked walks, stole bases, and put the ball in play. If the brewers had done it you’d be praising their grit
  7. I think the last thing the Brewers need are more scoring chances where it takes 3 or 4 batters to plate a run. They do enough of that as it is. They need more Willy Adames-style 3-run shots. And you want Rhys on base why? For his speed? Hoping that Joey Ortiz will drive him in?
  8. I’m still going. Been to two already, have tickets for three more. Got in on the $5 tickets against the Astros on Monday. I look for deals, make it an outing with friends and family. It’s a bit of a drive from Madison, but I know the game will happen. Got the football jersey, will chase down the cribbage board on Saturday. If I lived closer I’d get the ballpark pass. I wish they weren’t 3-9 with me in attendance since last season, but the Brewers haven’t lost me.
  9. I have been out of the loop a little bit for a couple of days, but why was Myers sent down? Is he hurt?
  10. You're not calling for his job but asking when he starts receiving criticism. I think he gets a lot here. The Shane Smith thing has been commented on at great length. So from whom are you hoping he gets criticism? And to what end?
  11. What happened? Quintana had 75 pitches in the middle of the sixth, looked like he was going deep, and suddenly they’ve burned half the bullpen.
  12. Why did they cut off that throw? I think that would have been close at home. Oh well, 1-0!
