  1. Sure would be a shame if, you know, something happened and your car wouldn’t start. A real shame…
  2. Murphy is 170-113 as a manager. He just hit the .600 mark with this win.
  3. Helsley just came in with a 3-2 lead for the Mets and gave up two runs
  4. To the people that think Ks aren't bad and that an out is an out: Cubs batters struck out for the last six outs when all they needed in the eighth was a sac fly or a ball in play to at least get the contact play on. Then, in the ninth, they got a one-out single and three Ks. You hate to see it....heh heh.
  5. Do what I do when I have a question...
  6. Rereading the thread, I read torts prediction as 110 wins, including the wins it would take to win the WS. So he is predicting 99 wins and 11 in the playoffs. Is that correct, @torts? Either way, love the prediction. I am feeling ashamed that I only predicted 90 wins.
  7. I think the discussion of who we would like to see the Brewers has not gone well recently, much like the Brewers' injury luck at the end of the year. I think that most people wanted the Dbacks instead of the Phillies or Braves in 2023, I know that playing Atlanta in 2021 sounded a lot better than playing either of the 100+ win Dodgers or Giants (with the Cardinals being the other possibility). Beating Washington in the 2019 wild card game sounded like a good matchup. We often frame these discussions in how much it would suck to lose to a certain team, such as the Cubs or Dodgers. It would also feel awesome to beat them. 6+ weeks, 42 games left, the only thing that is certain is that much will change before then.
  8. Hey @Brock Beauchamp, tomorrow’s poll: Greatest #20 in Brewer history: Gorman, Lucroy, Sutton, Lockridge.
  9. They were at 94-63 in 1982. They lost four in a row to make the last game of the year a winner take all game against the Orioles.
  10. Counsell has Turner pinch hit for PCA in the 9th
  11. Nah. I want the fake stuff to stop. And we were having a perfectly reasonable discussion, no need for you to insert yourself
  12. It came from a site called Dangerous AI. Did any news source pick up the story?
  13. How bad Devin has been is a separate issue from posting a deep fake of a bunch of things Boone never said. It’s possible to use credible sources, such as the stats you quoted, without leaning into the misinformation that these deep fakes promote. I cannot state how much I hate it.
  14. I read that he got a 60 million signing bonus, so his total compensation for this year is higher than the Brewer payroll
  15. I think we are so spoiled by the Brewers' defense that while you call it shoddy defense, other teams just call it defense.
