  1. Faalele really doesn't seem like a Packers-type O-lineman. Huge and not overly athletic. Kellen Diesch or Matt Waletzko could be good fits schematically. Maybe Max Mitchell. Sean Rhyan perhaps too.
  2. Frankly, because mocks are not the real thing. Or its at the point where he's fallen so far that even the teams who are interested are second guessing themselves.
  3. He's pretty tiny for a LB, and has a really long injury history. Heck of a productive college player, though.
  4. Ed Ingram is a good pick for the Vikings. I hope they aren't figuring this whole draft thing out.
  5. I know it's a long way away yet, but I predict the Packers pick TE Jelani Woods or an O-lineman in round 3.
  6. No. He's not going to be the WR1. They'll sign a vet like Julio Jones to serve in that role, and when he inevitably goes down, Lazard will likely be the man. He's got some major breakout potential this season. Watson should be a solid complimentary guy this season, though, with some pretty splash plays.
  7. I imagine the grade they had on Watson is substantially higher than the one they have on Pickens. Pickens has every measurable you'd want, but perhaps he's simply too much of a head case? No concerns there with Watson.
  8. Will Fuller Odell Beckham Jr. T.Y. Hilton Mohamed Sanu Julio Jones Might be worth seeing if Jones has anything left in the tank. He'd at least be a great mentor for Watson.
  9. I don't see a fit. They aren't going to employ three predominantly slot guys (Landry, Cobb, Amari Rodgers) among their 6-7 man receiver corps.
  10. LOL poor man's Michael Crabtree. Michael Crabtree himself ended up being a poor man's Michael Crabtree.
  11. Yeah, he turns 23 in two weeks. I thought the Packers never drafted older prospects high though? One thing he does fit is the mold that Gute and Lafleur like for perimeter wideouts. Roughly the same size as Drake London, but can actually RUN!
  12. Watson was considered by most of these draft nerds as the next guy predicted to go. Rodgers said last night that they had 1st round grades on 6 WRs, but considering what they gave up for Watson, I'm guessing it was 7.
  13. LOL imagine thinking the Vikings are better at this than the Packers.
  14. I want the Packers to draft Alec Pierce. today. That means the Packers won't draft Alec Pierce.
  15. Seems significantly better for me.
  16. Yep, they are prepping for life after Rodgers. Love isn't going anywhere. This is going to be a defense-heavy veteran QB-led squad reminiscent of the Broncos Super Bowl 50 team. Gonna be pretty funny when Rodgers makes someone like Malik Taylor look like a superstar.
  17. How old is Wyatt again?
  18. The Pro Football Focus Draft Show (available on YouTube) is ok. They do tend to dwell on their pre-draft grades too much, though, and can get annoying when they don't like where a guy goes.
  19. NFL Network's coverage is so, so much better than ESPN's. I know that's probably not what you are looking for, though.
  20. Both those guys are absolutely legit Top 10 talents if healthy, though. Terrific value if available. I'd be totally fine with Ojabo at #28. He might be the best pass rush talent in the draft. I think someone will grab Williams before #22 though.
  21. How crazy would Williams slipping to #22, then them picking David Ojabo at #28 be? Crazy good value there, but the "we need an immediate impact" contingent would freak out.
  22. Correct. Issue is only on desktop. I don't have any problems on mobile.
  23. If I had to guess, I think Treylon Burks is going to be the pick if the Packers stay at #22. He's a big (6'2, 225 lbs), strong receiver who fits the mold of what they typically look for. I personally wouldn't move up for any of the receivers arbitrarily ranked ahead of him. That said, it wouldn't surprise me to see them bypass WR completely tonight if they have a guy or two in mind in the 2nd, or a trade up their sleeve. Who knows where they are looking at #28? Could be O-line, safety, edge, ILB, D-line? Maybe even another WR?
  24. It's the top banner ad. It loads late every time for me, giving me bounce every time I go to a new page. The other ads aren't really a big deal for me, but that one is excruciating.
  25. He IS enamored with WR size ... on the perimeter. Rodgers was drafted specifically to be used in the slot. Gute and Lafleur have said as much ... they like big, strong guys on the outside that can win on contested balls, while they like smaller, shiftier, more explosive players playing on the inside. And while many Packer fans have already given up on Amari after he didn't show a ton last season, I would guarantee that the Packers themselves are not giving up on a 22-year-old who was an electric player from a blue chip program. I think Aaron Rodgers' insistence that Randall Cobb be brought back, along with Aaron's general mistrust of rookie WRs, stunted Amari's growth to a degree. I think he'll be much more productive this year.
