  1. I don't think it's fair to say that Mancini wouldn't be a difference maker for Milwaukee. He'd come in and pretty much be the best hitter in our lineup. 124 wRC+ so far, and while he's currently slugging only .413, his xSLG is .555. I think he's really been hampered by the O's moving the LF wall so far back at Camden Yards. He'd certainly have some increased HR numbers at Miller Park. He'd also provide a big boost against LHP, which this team sorely needs.
  2. I would count a rainout tomorrow as a Win at this point.
  3. Why would you be mad that there's some dogs at the ballpark? That's weird.
  4. Very disappointing year? Did you mean to post this on a different team's message board?
  5. Fondly isn't the right word, but since the mid-90's were when I really, really got into Brewers baseball so many of my memories and favorite players involve this "Motre Bame" logo. Still have a hat from this era that I bust out every once in awhile. Last time I wore it to a game I got a comment from a random fan about how ugly it was haha. Edited to add: I actually do like this logo and the uniforms more than the barley "M" navy uniforms that came with the first Miller Park season. Those were as bland as it gets to me.
  6. Felt like we should’ve swept that series. Let a couple get away. Solid road trip at least, let’s get back home and get one tomorrow!
  7. One of the more insane sends from third I’ve ever seen. Sheesh
  8. It's fine to be disappointed/annoyed/fed up with Cain and McCutchen, but it is absolutely not necessary to hijack nearly every thread on the board to repeatedly post about how disappointed/annoyed/fed up with Cain and McCutchen you are.
  9. He really hides the ball well with that delivery.

  11. He's a career .254/.331/.512 hitter vs. RHP with 35 HR and 29 2B. Pretty good. This year alone, he is hitting .273/.385/.682 vs RHP with 3 HR. Don't let the numbers get in the way of your Keston hatred though.
  12. JC Mejia suspended 80 games for PEDs https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2022/05/brewers-j-c-mejia-suspended-80-games-after-positive-ped-test.html
  13. I like the 6:40 starts for the slightly earlier end times, but also, a lot of the times I am rushed trying to get there after work and miss the start of the game, which I really don't enjoy.
  14. Assuming these were typos from people who meant Valerio? Thanks for putting this together again, reilly!
  15. I’m with you here, very high on Eduardo! I’ve got him at #7 in my preseason org prospect rankings.

  18. Was really looking forward to watching him play next season. Bummer. Wish him well
  19. Urias apparently left the game with an injury after going from 1st to 3rd on a Severino double.
  20. He showed nothing in his short stint in the Brewers' pen that made it appear that he would be a long term piece. He was throwing batting practice fastballs at roughly 90 mph, and got slapped around pretty good. Sometimes it just doesn't work out at the place you want it to. We'll see if he develops into anything long term, of if he is just a flash in the pan for the Dodgers. Considering the volatility of non-elite relief pitchers, odds are he'll likely flame out. He pitched a total of 2 innings in his time with the Brewers. Of course he showed nothing. It’s ok to admit that maybe the Brewers front office made a mistake here.
  21. Gotta love the fight from this young Badgers team. They are so much more fun to watch that the previous year's team full of seniors, just far more athletic.
  22. If they landed a 3B, I think it's more likely they move Urias to 2B and deal Wong. Wong would be a perfect fit for the White Sox. Who are the possible call-ups for 2022? One is Brice Turang, who could end up at short. That could move Adames to third and Urias to second. I'm pleasantly surprised at his AAA walk rate, and the stolen base success he showed. If he has a superb glove, a .360 OBP, and 30 steals a season... that could be enough at the bottom of the order. And if the Crew offers Adames a Wander Franco-type extension... Didn’t you drop Turang down into the 20’s on your most recent Brewers prospect rankings because of his “troubling” decreased walk rate in AAA? edit: “Massive drop in his walk rate is a big red flag”
