  1. Crosby misses and Keke has an unbelievable stupid penalty. 10 points
  2. It's sort of nice November day here, was thinking when out this morning I wished this was a late game for once. Now this garbage game.
  3. They were talking about it on radio pregame, the consensus was Crosby is not in imminent danger this season but that can turn in a hurry with kickers.
  4. I was really annoyed Rodgers wasn't aware Griffin was so obviously lined up offsides 2 pays in a row, wasted a free play. I was screaming SNAP IT!
  5. I hate playing these guys, can't we trade them to the AFC for the Chiefs?
  6. Keke back, Gary and Lazard out
  7. I would go as far as predicting it. Assuming Nebraska isn’t demoralized by always losing close ones. As for the B10 title game…if they couldn’t beat OSU in 2019 with a closer talent gap and that big halftime lead, I don’t know how they could possibly do it this year. I had to go through the tiebreaker rules as we could have a potentially3 or 4 way tie if Iowa loses but it most likely means the winner of the Badger-Goofs game goes to title game. Iowa plays on Friday, I will be pulling for them as I want Gophers demoralized.
  8. I am not sure what is going on,tough to watch after the run the D has been on but they did melt down late in some if the early games. Maybe the point about weak offenses is legit.
  9. When Nebraska stacks the line like that on short yardage you have audible out to something else
  10. Spend your money on whatever makes you happy, don't worry about what others think. I don't think the packers need the money but if it makes people happy you're right, why should I care? I do hope for extra restrooms though..
  11. Excellent. Will be that much sweeter when the Badgers tear their hearts out in Indy.
  12. Since there is no seating expansion this time I would like to see them do something to improve the game experience for the fans. Maybe new structures on both sides of the stadium with additional restrooms, vendor areas, maybe even an open area with tables. They could have more local restaurants or other food vendors rent the additional spaces to give some more variety, give people more of reason to come in early to stop the gate rush before kickoff. Long lines at bathrooms and for food/beverages happen at most full NFL stadiums I imagine but if you can take the pressure off a little it would make going to the games more enjoyable. Not sure how feasible that would be.
  13. Should be a big test for our defense, Cook is a threat they haven't really faced yet and he is an emerging Packer killer. Time for the offense to give the D a hand and get out of their first quarter funk, can't let the Vikings control the ball like last year.
  14. Actually Canada is on the road and El Salvador and Honduras are at home, hate how they list home teams first. Panama is actually behind every other team in the latest world rankings so there may be room for a slide for them. But yeah the US doesn’t want to have work left to do when they get to the last 3.
  15. Canada up 2-0 on Mexico, they have sort of come out of nowhere and are looking like a sure bet to qualify.
  16. Always like it when a guy who breaks into the bigs late like him still gets his payday. I would have liked him to stay but it also seems like he is injured more and more.
  17. We are missing a couple of injury plagued losing streaks, maybe coming up next?
  18. It will be interesting to see how they will they sell, the last 2 sales were after SB wins so I expected them to wait and see if they won it all this year. But I am sure they did their research and maybe the uncertainty of Rodgers long term made them decide now when they are winning and interest is high is as good a window as they may get for a while. But who knows, Packers are super popular in the state, it could be the can raise 90 million any time they want.
  19. So 1-2 weeks for Jones and Gary may play this week. I would say that is pretty good news considering I thought they were both lost for the season during the game.
  20. Hopefully Gary was more of a scare than anything serious and it sounds like they think maybe it was. Giannas was out just a week or so with his knee in the playoffs, can't remember a hyperextended elbow or how long that should take found this on some webmd site: Recovery times can range from several days to several weeks. The time it takes depends on the treatments used and how severe the injury is. Most people recover within 3 to 4 weeks.
  21. I didn't call Gary a disappointment. I said that the criticism of the pick has (IMO) been valid. He's a #12 pick who was thought by many to be a developmental pick. When you're a team that's in contention for the SB, a lot of people don't see using the 1st round pick on a developmental guy. He's a guy who's been learning on the job and looks to be a good player, nice rotational guy. I didn't say he was a disappointment, but I do see how the criticism of the pick has been valid. And if you get to the end of his rookie contract and he's just starting to reach his potential, that makes that criticism that much more valid. OK, I guess it’s the 3years to develop comment that made me respond, he has played from game 1 and has contributed.
  22. Both Kevin King and Rashan Gary played phenomenal games today. Both have played well for a big part of the season. Whole buffets of crow are being served right now. Stokes played phenomenal. King played well. King has played 4 games this year. I don't know that he's serving up a buffet of crow based on that body of work. Gary played well. The whole defense played well. I hope Gary is starting to live up to the hype and provide some depth and talent to the GB Packers d-line. I also think the criticism the pick has received up til now has been somewhat valid. It sucks in the NFL to pay a 1st round pick for 3 years to develop, only to see them get really good at the end of that development cycle and then go somewhere else with that talent, if that's what they choose to do. Gary played as rookie and played a lot last year and made an impact. He was pick#12, not sure how that is a disappointment.
  23. Goat cheese in place of mayo on a BLT. I was skeptical as I think the mayo makes the BLT but very tasty.
  24. Alot of season left yet. They went through a nice stretch of games last year too. I was skeptical of the Barry hire, but figured he couldn't be any worse than Pettine. But this defense is substantially better. There really is no denying that. Yeah I will eat some crow on Barry, seemed like a terrible hire but they have really come on. On the flip side I was totally right about Capers and Pettine.
  25. A oldie but a goodie: Cutler: "I can throw the most passes to Green Bay ever" Wilson: "Hold my beer"
