  1. If he comes back strong and pitches well down the stretch and intro the playoffs, we have a veteran whose arm is relatively fresh having barely pitched so far this year. With a lot of our young pitching never pitching too many innings in a year so far, could be valuable hanging onto him when those guys innings will be getting up there end of September. He could be this years Gio Gonzales.
  2. Man that is impressive for a Monday night game. Attendance has to be up this year so far right? It feels that way anyways.
  3. Just setting us up for a World Series run where we are the last seed to get in and have to play most of our games on the road instead of home. Clearly getting HFA hasn't helped us since 2018 win in the playoffs...
  4. Jake Taylor said it best. Win the whole *** thing. Maybe this will be our year where we aren't the best team, but just the "get hot at the right time" team and we roll with it for Uke.
  5. Is this our deepest starting pitching rotation ever in franchise history? Man how many different starters have we had so far this year? And for the most part except for the one dude who got lit up opening day at home all have been pretty darn good so far. Gone are the 5-6 man rotations and replaced by 8-10 guys it seems. But it's really worked out but hard to follow as a fan.
  6. Was at the game last night, second game of the year in person other than Opening Day...was getting real sick of seeing 0 offense again but then that all changed in the 9ths and 10th. What a great W let's hope it gets them goin' here back to ,500!
  7. Much too early to talk about selling. Let's see how the next month and half plays out first.
  8. Like a few others have said I think it's a miracle that this team is anywhere close to .500 right now with all the injuries, and a luke warm start from all 3 of our bigger stars. If all 3 of those guys are mashing right now, I don't think this post gets made and we aren't complaining about these guys as much as we are and calling for the reining GM of the year's head 1.5 months into the season. If these guys get hot, and the pitching comes back from injury strong I think we're gonna be ok and in the hunt.
  9. Yep watching the games, looking at our offense stats on screen and all the injuries like wow how are around .500? All our big names have been average or below average. I think they can turn it around and get hot.
  10. M on helmet, yep this era of Brewers is too before my time don't know too many of the players.
  11. Terrible tattoos? Yep, Cory Hart.
  12. I will admit watching EDLC is pretty fun. He's one of those guys like a Yeli where it's just fun to watch him run the bases with that long stride, more like a 400m track star than a baseball player. And then throwing to 1st base at what looks like 100mph every play is fun too.
  13. I heard that on 620 this morning. I'm sure some people will chime in with the usual "Cheap Owner" comments and messages but maybe they knew he was gone so why bother they couldn't match.
  14. He's been great so far, but faded 2nd half last year. If he can play like this for an entire season it would be awesome.
  15. It's good to have this starting depth though. Any of these guys can go down at any time with injuries, it's good to have depth here, or the ability to goto a 6 man rotation at times and keep guys healthy.
  16. Uniform context clues. Majetic brand, pre Nike. When did they start wearing the retro uniforms again around 2005 or 2006 maybe even 07-08? So could be anyone on the team from 2006ish-2019?
  17. It's baseball, can't get hung up on crushing losses. Just win the next one. Even the World Series champ teams lose in walk off fashion, lose series, have losing streaks, just part of baseball.
  18. I would rather shut him down now, and have him for the end of Summer and the Playoff run, same with Woody if they aren't 100%. Just like how we got Devin back in July, felt like a huge trade deadline acquisition.
  19. Excited to see us scoring runs with still many of the big gun vets starting cold, and limited starting pitching. Brice and Sal have been fun to watch so far this year. Mitchell as well and Jackson.
  20. Gotta look at the uniform context clues. The new era logo on the side of the caps was introduced late 2010s I believe, so yep Moose it is. Nice guess.
  21. Wow. That seems perfect for a catcher. I'd just let it ride with the current contract, and then trade him with a year or two left and get a nice return and start over. Just how small market teams have to operate these days.
  22. Scooter is my guess with the super baggy pants and looks pretty short.
  23. We win it all. For Uke.
