  1. Got a refund this morning, didn't call or anything. Guessing it was an error on their part.
  2. I just saw this show up as well right away. I thought it was for this past season to be honest. Maybe they charge you after the season ends. Nope right away again dang. I mean I'll probably do it but still.
  3. Someone else said it earlier above, but when they let the clock run down before the 2 minute warning you could see Love didn't like the call. He wanted to keep attacking and run another play. Just seemed like no urgency there to go for the W when we had them on the ropes for a TD and almost playing for the tie...and time almost expired.
  4. I hear you. I really do. It's amazing to be alive during the greatest stretch of consistent Brewers baseball in franchise history. No way I would of believed you as a kid if we made the playoffs and were good for so many years in a row now. It's been a great run, and looking at our farm should continue which is exciting. I don't think it's too much to ask for though to get some playoff dubs one of these years. Going to stay positive!
  5. My concern is just winning in the playoffs. It's been a while. 2018 since we've won a playoff series? I'm getting sick of us being these regular reason darlings and then choke. It's about time this team gets hot at just the right time and makes a run. I don't care about division champs, rookie of the years, gold gloves, platinum gloves, silver sluggers, MVPs, Coach of the year. It doesn't matter to me unless we win in the playoffs.
  6. Wow great data. Doing what a small market team needs to do. Draft and develop cheap young players. No doubt a huge reason for our success.
  7. I've noticed that too. His big smile is gone. I bet it's hard for a 21 year old dude who has mashed at every level of the game to eat some humble pie as teams adapt to him and how they pitch him. If I was another team I just wouldn't throw him a strike. He's not gonna walk. Make him beat you by hitting a ball. Until he starts taking walks he's going to struggle at times. That plate discipline will come in time, he'll figure it out.
  8. I'm going to remain positive here, I believe in this team and it's depth. But man it's starting to feel like 2021 again where we clinch early, rest guys, offense slumps, we get the bye and come out flat against a hot team fighting for their lives to make the playoffs and win the wild card like the Braves in 2021, D'Backs in 2023. I'm going to remain positive, after watching the 82 team documentary they struggled down the stretch but came alive when it mattered. Maybe that will happen with these guys. Playoff baseball is a rush unlike any other sporting event to me. And I'm thankful to be able to attend so many games. Growing up being born in '83 didn't think I'd ever get to see the Crew in the playoffs ever so I don't take it for granted. But man one of these years we gotta be that hot team and win the whole thing, right?
  9. We have hit good pitching very well this year, and have a very good record against winning teams all season long.
  10. Many things to look back on here to see how and why we threw this game away that are very frustrating. The INT sucked, the blocked kick sucked...but for me playing for 3 at the end there just didn't sit right to me. I thought we are all in, playing with swag this year...we're the 2-0 Packers and we finally start moving the ball downfield with that big play to Kraft. We have them on the ropes go for 7 there and play for the dagger. Don't piddle away 1 minute and 30 seconds on the clock and play for the field goal...or if you are playing for the field goal make it a chip shot, NOT out past 40 yards. The play calling there was so conservative at the end there it drove me nuts. Even with the bonehead INT we should of won.
  11. I'd like to see him in the role Hader had in 2018, along with some of our other younger guys. Go 2-3 innings middle of the game throwing gas after the starters exit early. Just pray he throws strikes. He hasn't been dominant in the second half of this season, except maybe 1 start. Hopefully limiting him to a couple innings will keep him fresh and help.
  12. Another great W against a good team, and we can clean up a lot still like others have said. The things that drive me nuts are Love seems to throw the ball away way too early if something isn't there. He doesn't seem to be rolling out to extend the play longer and find someone open down field. He just goes down, takes the sack, or throws it away while back peddling. I'd like to see him spin and rollout and try to make something happen. THEN after that, throw it away if it's not there or run. That part of what made him so good end of 2023 still isn't there. Also the third and fourth down decision making. We only need to get the first down, and he's throwing these bombs. I get it if the WR is open take the chance, but some of these throws weren't even close or the person was well covered. Maybe that's the play calling, but I'd like to see them just try to move the chains instead of these home run bombs to well defended WRs. Defense has looked great, wow. So much better than in years past. It's fun to watch.
  13. Joc Pederson. Great. 2018 NLCS coming back to haunt me. What team was he on a few years back that killed us too the Braves in 2021 right?
  14. I'm going to remain positive with all the injuries stuff to our big players right now. They are being extra cautious they are good for down the stretch and in the playoffs. No reason to play through minor stuff now, not yet. Get 100% now or as close as you can.
  15. You know my answer. Well I guess there's just only one thing left to do...
  16. I'd be curious to see how many of his HRs are Yankee Stadium short porch homers.
  17. I remember 2014 this time of year vividly. Just moved in with my girlfriend, was so excited to be chipping in for cable together so I can watch Aram and the Brewers make another playoff push into September, I think we moved in Sept 1st into an apartment. But it felt like every day I came home from work, turned the game on with excitement, and almost every game we were already losing early. Like every game. It was awful to watch and so sad after I was so excited. That's why I love this run we've been on since 2017 or so! Oh yeah also 1993-2006ish was pretty rough too :)
  18. 2014 somehow still goes under the radar...that was so depressing. Weren't we up leading the Division through August and choked? I think we only won a couple games all month in Sept. I'd rather them lose now and get hot for the playoffs, then keep playing well now and get cold for the playoffs.
  19. I know many here agree but think he has the nastiest stuff on the team when he's on. Just filthy how much movement he gets on all his pitches with high velocity...buttt sometimes it's too much movement and he walks too many yep.
  20. I like to play this game where if I'm busy and don't know the score of the game, I hop on this site and look at the IGT... If it's only a couple pages, chances are we are winning. If it's over 10 page early on or mid game, we are losing big or blew a lead. Over 20 lookout, could be an ugly loss or blowout, major meltdown. Then I turn the game on, see we are down by only 1-2 runs and or winning even and can't believe how negative people can be sometimes. Do they not realize how good these Brewers teams have been since 2017? We are beyond spoiled. I grew up in bad years of the 90's and 2000s Brewers teams. This is an amazing run we are on. Enjoy it.
  21. Are these long stretches where we play every day balanced for all teams every couple years? Or are they making it harder for us to be good next year? I think the last couple years we've had a lot of off days in September compared to other teams so maybe it's just balancing out.
  22. Has Miz had a good start since the All-Star break? Unless he's pitching lights out and getting us to the 5th-6th innings, yeah I'd rather seem him come out of the pen and be a right handed version of Hader on the 2018 team for the postseason. Or piggy back him with someone like Gasser?
  23. We figured this stretch of 19 games in 18 days would be a tough stretch, especially against good teams. So far it's proving accurate, and the team is a little banged up as well. But if we survive this stretch and get healthy and hot for the playoffs it's ok. Should be a fun last month.
  24. It's going to come down to the wire guys. The Cubs were playing poorly, now they are getting hot again and have an easy schedule. We have a tough schedule coming up and no off days, we were bound to lose some games here. The key is to lose now, and then get hot again for the playoffs. That's all we have to do is be hot in the playoffs to get to the WS and win it all one of these years. I don't care what seed we are, we just have to get in and be the hot team and we will win.
