Another great W against a good team, and we can clean up a lot still like others have said.
The things that drive me nuts are Love seems to throw the ball away way too early if something isn't there. He doesn't seem to be rolling out to extend the play longer and find someone open down field. He just goes down, takes the sack, or throws it away while back peddling. I'd like to see him spin and rollout and try to make something happen. THEN after that, throw it away if it's not there or run. That part of what made him so good end of 2023 still isn't there.
Also the third and fourth down decision making. We only need to get the first down, and he's throwing these bombs. I get it if the WR is open take the chance, but some of these throws weren't even close or the person was well covered. Maybe that's the play calling, but I'd like to see them just try to move the chains instead of these home run bombs to well defended WRs.
Defense has looked great, wow. So much better than in years past. It's fun to watch.
