  1. I'm sure he can put up good numbers elsewhere. He was pretty hot for us before getting hurt this past season early on. But yeah he clearly didn't seem in the teams future when he barely played down the stretch.
  2. The clock management has been bad, really bad end of game and the halves. Like I have zero trust if it's a close game in the playoffs we'll be able to manage things good. Just wasting time, not using time outs in the right spots. Not sure if that's Love, MLF, or both but it's bad.
  3. Mine just hit last night I think I'm good.
  4. Sorry to bring this thread back up, but does anyone still have NLCS game 6 or 7 bills still on their credit cards? I do. I thought it would get removed by now. I don't have to pay them on my bill till end of next Nov but still it's annoying. Do I have to do anything on ballpark app?
  5. I'm still feelin pretty good. Can't pick a better time to get hot than now.
  6. Snell was on, he did the same to the potent Phils lineup last week. It seemed like any time we tried to take a pitch or two he would throw these perfectly placed curves or fastballs right on the corner. It felt like we were down 0-2 in the count almost every at bat. Just attacking the strike zone and leaving nothing over the plate that was hittable. Still fought and made it interesting at the end, and that double play with Sal was amazing. Still plenty of games left.
  7. Ashby has sick stuff, so much movement. He threw a curve Monday in game 2 that made the batter, umpire, and catcher even flinch and buckle...so much so it was called a ball. But sometimes it's almost too much movement and he walks patient hitters. Just hope he's on and there's a short leash. Yep I bet he just faces their lefties at the top of the order.
  8. I expected to see Mears instead of Anderson. Gasser I get because he can mop up and give you 3-5 innings if you're getting blown out...and still has the potential to be good.
  9. I like both AL teams left. That will be a good series. Good uniform matchup too.
  10. Us sweeping the Dodgers in the regular season months ago doesn't mean anything to me. We caught them twice going through rough patches not playing well...they are now. And are more healthy. And they are just a team that finds it in the post season. I still think we can beat them, it's just going to be tough. I think we've played pretty good in LA over the years, it won't be cold like Chicago. Yeli and Braun always seemed to hit well there. Yeli lives out there right so he can stay in his own house probably and be relaxed and mash. I like seeing those power rankings, I love STILL no one expects us to do anything. It's great motivation for the guys that has fueled them all year.
  11. Yeah we thought we were looking really good Wednesday night with Priester lined up to pitch, and then Freddy last night. It all sounds great on paper...but it didn't happen. Need the bats tomorrow.
  12. I think this game depends on the offense. We can't expect the pen to keep being so perfect (except for Gasser late last night) or close to perfect and need our bats to start doing what they do and get on base, steal, create havok on the basepaths, maybe get into one and put pressure on the other team. If we do that, I think we win.
  13. Oh man I hear you. Last night was brutal. Even when it started and was 0-0 I was watching with the sound off. Something about hearing those national broadcasters favor the Cubs drives me insane when we are losing and playing poorly. I had to be doing something else in the basement while watching it was too painful.
  14. Up 2-0, had both our ideal starters going in game 3 and game 4 and they beat us...just goes to show you in baseball why you play the games. Sometimes not everything works out like you want or planned. This is one of those situations. I feel like it's our duty to fill hat place up, you know those Cubs fans will be comin in hot we gotta pack that place and get the team jacked again.
  15. Feel like this thread needs some support today and tomorrow... Feels similar to 2011 with Arizona, right? Win both home games, lose both road games. Game 5 was a dogfight and we won. That's what I'm hoping for here.
  16. Good takes, and I like how you don't go on this site for the games. I think that's a great idea.
  17. Yep easy call, go with your Ace. Ride or die with him, go for the kill and avoid game 5 best you can. Sure he's a flyball pitcher and the wind is blowing out a bit, who else do we have available that isn't a flyball pitcher that can go 5-6 innings and is fresh? Most of our guys available tonight can give up the long ball...and the wind is blowing out for our offense too. How about we just score a ton of runs and win it that way. My anxiety would appreciate that.
  18. Yep I think we all remember 2011 NLDS and NLCS I believe we won early games in those series too. It's not over by a long shot. Going to be a fight today.
  19. I was at the game, foul territory by the left field foul pole. Man the Vaughn homer was awesome. It got almost kinda quiet over by us, people just watching that ball hang up there wondering where it's going to land and come down. Man was it loud during all 3 homers. All over the stadium it felt like over 9/10 Brewers to Cubs fans around by me.
  20. They've done the opener thing for Priester in the past this year and it worked good, so I get it. It's one of those moves that if it backfires you look bad, and if it works out you look good. As long as we don't get crazy, wild Ashby when he has so much movement he can't throw strikes I think we'll be ok. I see the strategy behind it as others have explained above. Jackson my guess they will rest him tonight with the other off day tomorrow but we'll see here.
  21. Craigers in the dugout giving signs for the Cubs D to shift to Spyder 2 Y Banana.
  22. Not here, but hearing lots of pouting from "fans" complaining our home field advantage is now gone that we are playing the Cubs...how did it help us in 2021? 2023? Game 7 2018? Last year? How did it help? We lost. It doesn't matter. Brewers players are used to Cubs fans in our stadium, it's just a fact of life. And I bet they feed off that energy a little bit rooting against them. Bring it on. Let's do this. One of these times we have to win a couple playoff series here and get hot at the right time. How sweet would it be to be right now for these next couple weeks.
  23. Very cool thanks! I love following Random Brewers on Twitter/X to find random players this is great.
  24. Man just watched the gm 6 2018 NLDS highlights to get me pumped for the playoffs and feeling positive, man those are some great memories unlocked I was at that game. All I can feel still is game 7 :(
