  1. Mitchell stays healthy and finally puts a good season together. Ortiz does better and isn't the punching bag anymore like last year...
  2. But is he in the best shape of his life?
  3. This guy is going to be Daz Cameron on this year's team. That player you go a few years later "wait that guy was a Brewer?" Or the dude with the really bleached dreads? See I forgot his name already.
  4. Maybe the Hoskins signing from a few years back scared the Brewers away from Suarez. We tried to sign a power bat and spend money and it didn't work out. Don't want to risk that again? But agreed it looks like a deal we could of made.
  5. Cordero trade is another good one. Lots of meh players back. Off the top of my head we got stars such as Kevin Mench, Lance Nix, and 1-2 pitchers maybe I forget. Rick Helling?
  6. Looks like he just signed with the Phils.
  7. That was one of the good ones yep. Got Cappy from that.
  8. When it's one star for like 4-5 guys it reminds me of the old Brewers trades from the late 90's and early 2000's for Jenks, Burnitz, Cirillo, Vaughn. Rarely do you hit on all the players, if any.
  9. I feel like reading this thread we have the entire A's scouting staff from Moneyball in here complaining about how tall people are. Who cares? As long as they get on base. How many "great size" can't miss prospects have fizzled out over the years for us? Maybe we should of traded for Kevin Barker and Brad Nelson. How tall was Prince? 5'8"? He turned out pretty good. I'm gonna sit back and trust the 2 time Front Office of the Year to do their job on this and hopefully it works out for us for long term.
  10. My Wife lived in Chicago for a while and has Bear fan friends, so she was invested in the game Sunday. Kept saying things like how tough of a loss it was for them, after that last TD pass to tie was so uplifting... I'm like been there and done that already in 2016 with Rodgers to Janis (an even more insane throw and catch) and we lost in OT very quickly. :)
  11. He could also start a Madden Franchise mode. It really does teach good clock management.
  12. This would be a total bummer. Just wiping out a year or maybe more of our awesome farm system players getting better and older. Why couldn't this of happened when the Brewers sucked early 2000s? :)
  13. I always go back to this Yellich interview before the season a couple years ago. They all know the early rankings and polls are a joke and never pick the Brewers. But I like it because it motivates the team. Never getting respected. "Because we're the Brewers"
  14. If the Packers D can for once this season get some INTs I think we win. To me that has been the biggest disappoint with the D this season. Seems like our guys are in the right place to make the INT, and they just drop it or two guys go for it. It was a major reason the D was so good last year. I really thought INTs would increase this year too with the better pass rush. I know a lot of people on here predicted that and it just didn't happen. So strange.
  15. Quintin Berry had a lot to do with the stealing I bet. I'd be curious to see how much the Cubs stolen bases went up after he joined the staff. That was the biggest surprise to me from our team last year with our play style compared to the year before, way less stealing. Maybe they wanted to avoid injury, maybe it was the coaching.
  16. I like our chances against the Bears. Our guys are rested, Chicago is coming off a short week and not playing the greatest either of late. Love usually plays well in situations like this and in Chicago. It's going to be a great game, I'm pumped. But the following week think they will get blown out. But hey let's see!
  17. Wow great post. Truly shows why we have been Front Office the year the past couple years.
  18. What's the Packers overall record in Denver? It seems like one of those places we never play good, going back to the Favre and Rodgers days even like Buffalo and NYG.
  19. Do any of the talking head shows talk about Parsons getting held every play? I get the whole rip move thing, but even with that it just seems a little extreme now and there should at least be a couple calls a game. This doesn't bode well for the playoffs when the refs usually "let them play" more.
  20. I guess I'm in the minority and don't like powder blue pants? It's just too much. Colored jerseys and pants matching like some of these teams City Connects have been scream highschool girls softball to me. It's sad road grays sell the worst for baseball, Nike has been trying to get rid of them for years by making the 4 jersey rule. They have always been my favorite. I like the Navy Alts, I like the modern take on the classic Milwaukee script. I just wish it fit in more with our other jerseys we currently wear.
  21. Wouldn't that be the most Brewers thing ever. We FINALLY have an amazing farm system and depth, and the MLB club is good too...and we get a long lockout after next season potentially and we lose a year of all these guys.
  22. Love seems to always play well on Thanksgiving in a small sample. And yes, the turkey leg snub is a great chip on your shoulder. Looking back that was an awesome game 2 years ago?
  23. Who was that third string guy we lost to last time we played the Giants? Jimmy cold cuts some Jersey guy right? They made lots of jokes but that guy smoked us. We always play meh on he road in NY even back to the Favre days.
  24. How does this compare to what Ohtani was accused of doing that was swept under the rug? Of course they stick it to a smaller market team and not the face of baseball worldwide. Still pretty crazy stuff like this happens, but with all the crazy betting stuff not surprising. While it's pretty old now, everyone should watch that EPSN 30 for 30 Broke about how pro athletes go broke so fast. Even though they are making millions, a couple bad investments here and there and they could resort to this kind of stuff to earn some extra cash.
  25. Never had an issue with the app this past season. Only hiccup was the autorenew at the end of the season thing a lot of people had on here but I believe that's resolved.
