I see some Bauers and Seigler pinch hitting in the 9th in our future.

He probably would have hit into a DP if swinging away the way he's "hitting".

You really do have to love how anybody can justify playing Seigler with an OPS below .500 vs. righties over Durbin with an OPS above .700 against said righties.

Not interested in Buehler in the off-season either. Still can't believe he could go 10 straight scoreless with 13 Ks in the playoffs last year. Obviously got him a big contract despite being awful in the 2024 regular season (basically identical to this year).

Continues to amaze me that Woodruff keeps getting shout-outs for his hitting despite a .484 career OPS.

Maybe there's time to turn it around, but glad I wasn't on the Jansen bandwagon at the time of the trade. Have a hard time getting excited about anybody Mendoza Line-like.

If Lockridge is here for even one more year I'd be stunned. Just screams a roster crunch DFA long before his five years are up.

That's pretty much all I'm expecting. Maybe he starts the 2nd inning but doesn't finish it.
