At this point in the game it's irrelevant that he's hitting fourth. Even one run here is huge, and the way weeks has swung the bar the last week or two, his best chance to help the team is to bunt IMO. What the....that was the dumbest thing ever. Awesome. Way to totally botch that. Brewers. -
I would rather weeks try to bunt than swing. I have zero confidence in him doing anything productive by swinging. Even though he probably can't bunt either but those are big runs out there...

I think the Rockies really did have 9 or 10 infield hits in 3 games against us. Still absurd.

Nice of the offensive to go into hibernation after the first. Not even making him work out there really. Not driving in lucroy in the first is looming bigger and bigger.

I would PH for Estrada here. Pitch count rising and he's pitching poorly. Should be happy we got five ok innings from him.

Lucroy could go there. Not ideal power for that spot but at least he's hitting the ball...weeks is supplying virtually nothing as far as power or hits go so losing power with lucroy is really no big deal. Weeks has sucked there and stated he doesn't like it, yet we keep putting him there and watching him fail day after day.

I was at the game on Tuesday night...Axford topped out at 94 from what I saw. He also had two balls hit within about 5 feet of being over the wall. Until he starts hitting 96-98 again, I'd keep him where he's at. I don't know if he's hurt, if he lost it or if he's dialing it back to throw strikes but he needs that velocity to be effective. He has located his breaking ball better lately, so thats a positive I guess.

He was a good 2-3 steps towards third by the time the SS threw the ball. It wasn't even close...how do 4 umpires miss that?

Isn't the rule two bases when a fielder throws it??? He was WAY past second by the time he threw it.

Alright, that's enough with the balls here Henderson. Close play at 2 there...might have actually had him. Whew, was nervous there. I'd call for a walkoff here, but not really feeling it from anyone coming up. Really...not feeling a HR from the entire lineup right now. Hope someone proves me wrong.

Henson has looked good, and we're a mediocre team and he still can't get on the floor? Other than Jennings, I can't remember a rookie we picked that got to play even 10-12 minutes a game as a rookie. Drafting guys in the first round and then letting them ride the pine when you suck as a team. Makes sense to me.

Braun is really struggling. It's like he's trying to walk up there. His stance/swing just looks completely off.

From CBS... In one of the more baffling, head-scratching decisions of the offseason, Marquette junior guard Vander Blue has opted to leave early for the NBA. Can't say I disagree, not sure who is giving him advice, but this is a bad move. He desperately needs to improve his jumpshot and coming back for a senior season would have absolutely been the right move. Honestly...is he even a first round pick? I wouldn't think so. And if you get picked in round 2, you get a non-guaranteed contract. This move makes no sense. Hurts MU at lot next year too, as he was likely a first team all conference pick next year...big loss.
