  1. Yep, my thinking exactly. Wiemer is a big risk for the K but if he makes contact, ball go far.
  2. The only option was Wiemer. Sure, it's a huge risk but he gives the best chance of a 100mph exit velo against a lefty.
  3. Counsell is underwhelming me to a degree I did not think possible.
  4. Boy, a tough decision here. Use Wiemer and potentially end up with a K, or keep Frelick and end up with nothing (probably).
  5. Oh come on, don't get my hopes up and then lay down and die...
  6. I see that while I put my kids to bed, the Brewers went full-blown trash fire.
  7. If he starts his swing now, he might get the bat through the zone by the time he's put into the game.
  8. Sorry for the delay, I added Avina for you.
  9. Well, it's win or stay home. For the love of God, please have the good Freddy Peralta show up today and not the wild, inconsistent, mistake-prone version.
  10. Yelich simply doesn’t do dumb crap like that on the bases. What the hell.
  11. I am emotionally wiped out. Just got back from the game, it’s time to watch the crew in a vegetative state.
  12. By the way, I like the featured image for this piece. It appears that Joey Wiemer is under the delusion he can fit inside the Gatorade container.
  13. I'm less outraged about this and more fascinated at the thinking behind it. I certainly would not have made the same decisions but the Brewers aren't stupid. They have their reasons and I'd sure as hell like to know what they are.
  14. Ideally, on November 1st the Brewers and Woodruff agree on a nice, lengthy extension.
  15. I'm not doom and gloom - the Brewers still have two very good starters - but I'm thoroughly sick and tired of watching both the Twins and Brewers limp into October year after year. Just once I'd like to see healthy teams make an earnest run at the postseason.
  16. Oh, you're in the category pages, it appears. Here is the baseball category: https://brewerfanatic.com/forums/forum/24-baseball-forums/ But mostly, I recommend just clicking the "Forums" tab on the top of the page. That takes you to the forum index with all forums listed.
  17. Brewcrew jumping in and starting a game thread, nice.
  18. Welcome to Brewer Fanatic. Or something. Seriously, this just deflated my day.
  19. Seriously though. Gut punch.
  20. WHAT THE HELL I GOT ON A PLANE RETURNING FROM NYC AND YOU ALL LET THIS HAPPEN?!?!?!
  21. What do you mean by “most viewed list”? Not sure what you’re describing here.
  22. Yeah, the NLC wasn't terrible this year. The ALC on the other hand...
