  1. Strzelecki has little MLB track record, is optionable, and makes pennies. Winker and Yelich, in addition to having long MLB track records, did/do not have options and make a significant amount of money.
  2. No. I think he's had enough. I just don't know why you brought him up in the first place as they're different situations (same with Yelich). Strzelecki, with his recent performance, isn't next in line for reliever call ups.
  3. They're going to trade guys with an eye on contending next year. So, Flaherty, Montgomery, etc. definitely gone. Remains to be seen with Goldschmidt and Arenado. I doubt it, though.
  4. Winker has a longer track record of MLB success than Strzelecki and can't be optioned. Not that difficult to understand. Abner Uribe is likely to stick, which leaves one spot that will likely go to Justin Wilson, who has a track record of success in the majors and has been good on rehab.
  5. Generally, players who are struggling to the tune of a 14.73 ERA and 9 BB/9 in AAA aren't called up. Particularly when we have other options. Yelich was in the lineup because of his 200 million $ contract and the fact that he was still an above average major league hitter (not "awful"). Not a comparable situation.
  6. Trading a one inning reliever is also very different from trading your ace pitcher. I just don't see it happening at this point.
  7. Why would Strzelecki be arriving shortly? He's been struggling in the majors and in AAA.
  8. @Brock Beauchamp Yophery Rodriguez wasn’t there when I originally voted can I please have a redo? Thanks lol
  9. Disagree somewhat. As the Phillies, Braves, etc. have shown recently, anything is possible once you get into the dance. I do think there are “untouchables” in our system (Chourio, Misiorowski, etc.) that I wouldn’t even discuss unless for a controllable star. But if there’s decent value out there for someone who can improve the club in the here and now and would cost you a Black, for example, I would do it. I think we absolutely need to take advantage of potential opportunities improve the offense at the deadline, as you only get so many chances to win a division and prospects flame out all the time.
  10. Or any of the three games in Milwaukee at the end of the month,.
  11. With a win tomorrow, the Brewers' would clinch the season series over the Reds and thus the divisional tiebreaker....
  12. My introduction as a 6 year old Brewer fan.
  13. Well, there's a first time for everything.
  14. Just don't let Peguero face EDC and we're fine.
  15. Monasterio is not a major league hittter against righties either.
  16. I'm concerned about Turang as a hitter.
  17. Wow. Interesting move to take Ashcraft out.
  18. Bensen's throw right there is why you send Wiemer with 2 outs.
  19. It takes a lot of pitches to strike out 13 batters.
