  1. I’ve been mainly asking for Abner Uribe.
  2. We’ll, at least if we lose this Clayton Andrews can get sent down and maybe we can get Abner Uribe up here.
  3. Dansby Swanson against the Brewers is the greatest hitter of all time I guess.
  4. Because it’s about what you’ll get going forward. I’ll take Winker’s 123 wRC+ over the last two weeks and see if he can keep it up until the deadline. You’ve also got Hiura available in AAA with more upside at this point. Adding Cruz would be making a move just for the sake of making a move.
  5. Well, Winker has a 124 wRC+ over the last 2 weeks FWIW Bottom line is we’re better off trying to resolve things internally until the deadline (Hiura?). Cruz is cooked and offers zero positional versatility.
  6. Never said Woodruff was going to return before then..

  11. They’re not aces at this stage in their careers. Lodolo has actually been horrendous this year. Greene has been pretty good. But they’re both still pretty far off from returning…
  12. No it isn’t. Woodruff is one of the very best pitchers in the game….
  13. They would be pretty silly to start trading away their prospects this early in their rebuild. Abbott is good, but he’s still a rookie and he’s going to be running into a career high in in innings/innings limit sooner than later. Other than him, their pitching is suspect to horrendous. Like bottom 5 in baseball bad.
  14. If there was any doubt about the Cardinals and their priorities…They’re donezo
  15. 20 odd days does not a bullpen define. For the entire season, the Cubs' bullpen is 15th in ERA and 23rd in WPA. The definition of mediocre...
