Like why enjoy things that are 99% going to happen when we can just doom and persistently dream up the worst case scenario outcomes.

    Another super lame comparison. Anything can happen (duh) but that doesn't make it close to probable or something worth entertaining or fretting over.

    I'm quite aware it wasn't you who said that, but you were jumping in on an ongoing conversation involving someone who said those things.... What it comes down to is it would be incredibly hard to find teams who have blown leads like the Brewers currently possess (and those teams didn't have extra the benefit of a tiebreaker for first like the Brewers currently hold). At the end of the day 98% is 98%.
