  1. They can still qualify if they get called up within like the next week. It's not OD roster. Chourio is ineligible since he signed the extension.
  2. 2018-2019 Yeli to start the year.
  3. No we're not. Unless Ortiz, Black, Misiorowski, or Quero (rising from the dead) win ROY.
  4. I definitely like Junis as a guy to get you 2 times through the order.
  5. 2 days off this week. Makes sense.
  6. Who said we still can't one run games!
  7. Going to be hard for add-ons against Diaz.
  8. Feel like you just tip your cap there, and be thankful you got the insurance runs. He found his pitch, which wasn't even a bad pitch.
  9. I would imagine it has a lot to do with being stretched out as a starter and it being cold and early in the season. I'll wait a little bit to be too concerned.
  10. I would watch his postseason highlights from last year.
  11. Remember when people were freaking out over the Hunter Renfroe trade....
  12. I thought we didn’t have pitching anymore! Seriously, it’s great to have baseball back, and it’s even greater to have the Brewers. Regardless of what happens the rest of the way, this will be a fun young team to follow.
  13. I’d be shocked if it wasn’t Uribe. They still would’ve gone to him earlier if it wasn’t.
  14. With this rotation, I think you try to get Freddy through 6 every chance you get. Even today.
  15. Frelick sitting automatically against LHP with his minor league splits is one thing, but sitting him in favor of Perkins is another thing all together. Fire Murphy!
  16. Feel sorry for him because he's a great pitcher, but not for Cubs fans. Looks like a very major injury.
  17. Projections are also notoriously conservative on rookies.... I've already granted that his rookie floor is probably lower than Bobby Witt Jr's, but there isn't much to suggest we're looking at Joey Wiemer type struggles when he's never struggled that bad anywhere and has been K'ing less than 20% of the time in the minors and 70 ABs of big league ST.
  18. I think the evidence points to his floor being somewhere around there, maybe a bit lower I'll grant you. Even when he was "struggling" in AA last year his wRC+ hovered around 90. And that's as bad as he's struggled anywhere professionally. I get the big leagues is a totally different monster, but he hasn't been K'ing at the 30% rate that would suggest significantly below that level of struggle to like Wiemer territory.
