  1. I don't believe they would be able to see specific emails. Like someone said, there is the ability for keylogging. I think a lot would have to do with the type of company she is with. Large corporation, small firm, etc. I work for the government, while we have the ability to record and review everything; the threat of doing such is enough to keep most honest.
  2. Brewers- Tulo, given our need at SS Packers- Michael Turner. This team, with a power running game to supplement Rodgers, would be a dynasty. Bucks- Kevin Durant. Bucks need an Alpha Dog scorer/leader.
  3. I do a simple artichoke dip for all the games. Easy and delicious! Cup of Mayo (I use light)Cup of MozzarellaCup of ParmaseanCup of finely chopped artichokesCouple sprinkles of garlic powder or some garlic seasoning Mix all together in a bowl, then spread into a shallow baking dish. Top with smoked paprika. Bake at 350 until brown and bubbling. Serve with triscuits. Like many, the recipe improves with the quality of ingredients. The better parm you use, typically the better result. I have also started using the Melting Pot's garlic and wine seasoning instead of garlic powder, with fantastic results!
  4. If there was a competition for most times answering the question "How tall are you?"(6'8"), I would be world champion. If there was a competition for most times winning those rigged basketball games at carnivals, I would be world champion. Here's the funny part, I'm a big man, so never really worked on my shooting touch. However, I would calculate I am no worse than 40% success rate shooting at the high basket with the small rigid rim. It is ridiculous. Two years ago I hit three in a row. One for me, two for others asking me to win prizes for their kids. This certainly doesn't coincide with the roughly 8% I shot from anywhere on the floor while playing in college.
  5. Avoiding it. I've heard it's a garbage product. BCDP may be decent. They are doing a wrapper redemption for goodness sake.
  6. I would agree with Jim. I do not believe that teams set the policy individually, if it is illegal for one, it will be illegal for all. I'm not sure how big your operation would have to be to garner attention. If you were selling the photos offline, I would think it would go largely unnoticed. I would guess that the problems would arise from pictures circling the internet (ebay, etc.)
  7. Slightly unrelated, but do yourself a favor and try the steak nachos at Diablos in the Monte Carlo. I ate those for 3 meals last time I was there. Great with a bucket of Corona!
  8. I am 6'8", and drive a Honda Accord. I have to configure the seat perfectly, and it makes the seat behind me unusable, but it is comfortable. My son is 6'5" and drives the Cube. It is ugly as sin, and I think there are too many blind spots, but it fits him well. It is a little short in legroom for me. The car that fit me best was an 03 Durango, but the gas mileage was awful. We rented an Impala recently, and that and the Chrylser 300 both have adequate leg room. I was actually a big fan of the Impala.
  9. When I went through my unemployment, I found that hotels were always hiring. The pay stinks, and you work a lot of nights, but it is a relatively high turnover industry. Have you tried picking up with a landscaping service?
  10. My Blues are off to a 2-0 start with phenomenal goaltending from Halak. Can't wait to get to my first game of the year!
  11. Sporcle trivia site has been unveiling Friday quizzes testing people on 20 odd years of opening day lineups. They finally did the Brewers. Brings back some memories! Not all good.
  12. I asked my 16 year old, an avid guitarist, and this was his advice. Go to Guitar Center and play everything, see what fits you. He has a Gibson and an Epiphone Les Paul (which he is getting rid of in favor of a Gretsch Stump model), and detests Fender Strats. Says he can't stand playing them, much like an earlier poster stated, he prefers the Telecaster if it has to be Fender. Apparently a lot depends on what kind of music you like to play. I've been told Ibanez are more for the Metal crowd, but not sure if that is just his opinion. He has a Fender acoustic, but doesn't like it because he says you have to push the strings down too far. I'm not sure what that means, maybe it means something to you!
  13. At the moment, cryptosporidium is bugging me. My son contracted it somehow a few weeks ago, and passed it on to me. I was able to shake it with meds in a few days, but it was not a fun experience. My son is immunosuppressed, so he needs to remain on the meds awhile longer, and they are really messing with his system. The side effects of the drugs mimic the problems caused by crypto, so while he is getting better, he does not feel any better. Three years old is too young to have to deal with stuff like this, he doesn't understand. I hate it.
  14. If he handles the staff well, I'm fine with average production. I expect his offensive performance to improve slightly as he gets more comfortable with the staff. Able to focus his attention elsewhere and such.
  15. Not reading the whole post, but I just ordered some new jerseys from jerseymall2008.com , and was very pleased with them. $16 plus shipping, comes out to less than $30 a piece. THey had a ton of Packers and Brewers to choose from.
  16. Jumped in just in time for Gamel's first inning home run! Nice! Announcer said it was a cheap one and wind aided, but count's the same!
  17. Do you live in Milwaukee? Or will you be staying in a hotel? Take her to Kopps and let her get whatever she wants, even if there's no chance she can finish a 4 scoop sundae. Get a hotel with a big pool, and let her swim for an afternoon. Discovery World is a blast, and the Zoo never gets old to a 6 year old. I haven't lived near Milwaukee for awhile, so I don't recall all of the places. A salon is a great idea! Let her get her hair done, toes and fingers painted, and then take her somewhere special for dinner. The nice thing about that age, is that special to her, does not necessarily equate expensive or fancy. Get her a makeover, maybe let her get a new outfit, then take her to dinner and a movie perhaps. Does Milwaukee have one of those "classic" theatres? That might be cool. From my experience, my daughter wasn't that big on sight seeing at that age. I tried taking her on trips that I thought sounded fun, and she was bored. My best luck came from doing normal things slightly different. When we went out as a family, we didn't order dessert. On Daddy/Daughter trips, she got dessert. Little stuff like that seemed to make the difference at that age.
  18. I think there are a few collection displays and threads in Trading Post. May have to dig a little
  19. Second Vegas. Football season is too much fun in Vegas. Always a game to bet on.
  20. Winchester's Badger history is the only reason I tolerate his presence on the Blues. Too nice of a guy to be a consistant power forward. If he ever develops a mean streak, could be good in front of the net.
  21. I live down in STL now, big Blues fan. They are kind of like the Brewers of a few years ago. Tons of young talent (Oshie, Perron, Backes, Johnson), just can't quite put it together. They traded for Halak from Montreal, so their Goalie woahs may be solved. They are fun to cheer for, and awesome to watch live. Following the Red Wings is like following the Yankees, just wrong.
  22. JJ Reddick would have a hard time being anything but a pure specialist in Skiles system. Given all his improvements, he still can't cover his shadow. We already have one pure offensive player in Maggette. Gooden is signed to a reasonable, movable contract. He strikes me as a Juwon Howard type, who put up consistent numbers forever on bad teams. He may not be "tough", but he is good on the offensive glass, and is an aggressive rebounder, from my observation. As far as the numbers breakdown, I see Delfino taking a more limited role, and LRMAM being used as a stopper. Too much depth is a good thing. I think Gallon and Hobson see significant DLeague time this year. I will also be surprised if Sanders gets a lot of early run. His offense is raw, and against actual players, he should have trouble scoring. I'm glad he had a nice summer league, but I don't believe it has any bearing on his season. He is great defensively, but not sure he can match up well with the bigger NBA 4's right away. I agree with the Ham comparison on Brockman, I expect him to be a 10 mpg energy guy at first.
  23. If we had an actual improvement waiting, I would say pull him and let him mop up in the pen. Like someone above said, hard throwing lefties will be given chances until their arm falls off. I think Parra is the new JDLR. You are either enamored with his potential, or nauseated by the results. Might as well let him try to work through it, as no one is really taking the spot. Capuano is a nice story, and will probably pitch a few more years, health permitting. The ceiling is low, but I think most would like him as their #5, at least he can pick people off.
  24. I don't see the problem with the Gooden signing. He is a solid consistent player, and brings some toughness underneath that is lacking. If Sanders and others develop, he has a very tradeable contract.
  25. Have been a firefox addict for a long time, recently made the transition to Chrome, and haven't looked back.
