    I love Murph, of course, but he's just wrong here. Old white guy policing the celebration of a young latin american player. If MLB wants to come down with a fine, whatever. Murph didn't need to give his full throated support, but he could have been a lot more diplomatic in a way that isn't scolding or embarrassing Uribe.

    What the Brewers are doing is the most impressive thing in the sport. I'm not even sure I'd trade it for a one-off WS. Having about a decade's worth of meaningful baseball to watch for six months out of the year is so, so valuable.

    There's nothing Bauers does that Black couldn't. They're both 1B or LF. Except Bauers is 30 with five years of service time, and Black is 25 with no years of service time. Time to see what the younger guy can do.
