  1. Gasser placed on the 15 day IL with a left flexor strain
  2. And Adames has a much bigger role in the clubhouse than Burnes. Also pitchers are just way more injury prone than position players and all it takes is one big injury for a pitcher like Burnes and boom you no longer can give him a QO and get a comp pick out of it. That risk for a position player is much smaller.
  3. Junis velo was way down tonight, so not sure if he’s really that close to being ready.
  4. That LOB% stat on fangraphs has nothing to do with inherited runners. Peguero has the most meltdowns in the pen and the lowest WPA among non shuttle guys. He's just not been good in high leverage spots this year.
  5. Look beyond his ERA and actually watch him pitch. He has no clue where the ball is going out of his hand. He's been getting incredibly lucky and has allowed something like 80% his inherited runners to score. The HR pitch today was supposed to be a down and in sinker that he threw to the top of the zone. It's bad right now.
  6. Payamps and Peguero have both regressed hard this year. Pretty disappointing.
  7. Chourio just was absolutely dismantled there.
  8. That's some gutsy pitching from Hudson after being squeezed on 3 pitches against the two best power hitters in the Phillies lineup.
  9. Yeah I think it does happen a lot, but I've never seen it look as obvious as today.
  10. Does anyone else think the CF camera angle makes it look like the Phillies runner on 2B is trying to look into our pitchers glove and relay the pitch to home?
  11. Think it was @Brewcrew82 who mentioned it earlier that Ashby should pay attention to Sanchez and I feel like this start is exactly how you envision Ashby having success in the MLB. Pitches that move a ton and a ton of ground balls.
  12. This has been a pretty dominant weak contact performance from Sanchez. Brewers have 17 batted balls and only 3 of them have a LA above 2.
  13. Velo so down that half of his sinkers are getting tagged as changeups by statcast lol
  14. Junis velo is way down though. Seems to be getting results, but man that velo is a bit shocking to see.
  15. And his stuff moves a lot. Outside of his cutter all of his pitches move comfortably more than average.
  16. It was around 93 in his one start this year and 94 last year.
  17. Oof...Junis sinker sitting 88-89 in his first inning of his rehab assignment in AAA tonight.
  18. Slump has been longer than that. Since the start of the last road trip his wRC+ is under 60 in a now 78 PA sample.
  19. I hope the offense can keep scoring runs. Rea's giving me an uneasy feeling today. Feel like him giving up a HR feels inevitable today.
  20. No where you want to leave an 0-2 sweeper
  21. Front door changeup to get Ortiz? Doubt that's where Realmuto wanted it but ends up being one of those misses so bad it's good pitches.
  22. Blake Perkins with great baserunning. I could shed a tear.
  23. Rake Perkins is so back after an extended slump.
  24. Koenig actually was a SP in 2022 where he threw close to 150 innings, so maybe it's worth stretching him out.
