  1. Seems like the Brewers have seen enough of Logan Henderson at A+ and that he’s getting promoted to AA.
  2. Personally, I think Perkins has earned the right to be the starting CF until he fails. His defense in CF is that good. Mitchell has basically played no baseball the last 2 years. I don't think he deserves to immediately be given a starting role or even be in the MLB coming off playing a total of 27 regular season games since the start of last year between the minors and MLB. Frelick's bat is also starting to heat up and Chourio needs to play 4-5 days a week. I just don't see a spot for Mitchell right now.
  3. The only thing surprising about this is that it wasn't Biloxi that prevented us from the organizational sweep.
  4. I also just don't think he's needed. Between Yelich, Contreras, Sanchez, and Hoskins we have enough players getting AB between 1B and DH. If this team needs anything in particular I think it's a left handed power bat off the bench, but maybe Bauers can fill that role. He was a bit overexposed playing every day while Hoskins was on the IL.
  5. Seems like frustration is starting to boil over in Biloxi. Ernesto Martinez Jr had a melt down over being called out on a close call at 1B in the 1st inning tonight. I didn't see if he was for sure safe/out, but the reaction seemed excessive even if the call was wrong.
  6. Hayden Robinson, 18 year old and 14th round pick last season, with a fantastic start for the ACL Brewers tonight. 4.2 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 9 SO, 1 HBP
  7. 2-0 lead against Biloxi is a pretty formidable lead unfortunately.
  8. I've long felt the first part is true. I think no way Hader gets traded then if he wasn't slumping so bad the month up to the deadline.
  9. Robert Murray essentially confirmed this to be true. They were trying to immediately trade Ruiz for a bat but that fell through. We know the A's were in love with Ruiz, so maybe we were trying to trade for Sean Murphy and A's didn't like the secondary pieces we were willing to offer.
  10. I think BA is so much better than Levering at filling the down time and small talk moments of a game, but man Levering absolutely schooled BA on the Gary Sanchez HR call. His radio call was fantastic. Levering has gotten so much better at the hype moments and I think all of the national games from BA has hurt his hype calls.
  11. While they suck we do face their two best SP who have both been good this year in Fedde and Crochet.
  12. They only traded for Ruiz to try and flip him. Robert Murray confirmed a couple weeks ago that the Brewers were trying to flip Ruiz at the same deadline they got him.
  13. Probably true although with a fast runner I am usually fine with the aggressive sends. It's when they get aggressive with slower guys that makes me mad.
  14. Not very good. Command has been terrible. He's not getting many whiffs or strikeouts and has been giving up a bunch of free passes. I wouldn't want him pitching in the MLB pen right now.
  15. I never saw a good view of what actually happened, but Baez was grabbing his right shoulder in a ton of pain. Looks like a potentially major injury.
  16. Corniel gives up a grand slam. The hitter was smart to just be sitting dead red. Corniel had no feel for his slider and couldn't get one close to the strike zone. Hitter waited for the FB and crushed it to LF over the scoreboard.
  17. Corniel seems to have completely lost it this inning. I would not be shocked if he doesn't finish this inning.
  18. David Garcia rips a double high off the wall in RF. 2 runners score. Runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out still.
  19. Wow Reece Walling moved up to the cleanup spot today. Really cool to see. His first AB as a cleanup hitter he shoots a 104 EV liner to left field for a single. Hit too hard to drive Pratt in from 2B.
  20. Yophery with another strikeout looking. He's clearly been watching too much Brewers film.
  21. Why not just let him catch both? Contreras has been slumping with the bat. His xwOBA over his last 50 PA is .307. Maybe shown signs of fatigue 2 months into the year. He's on pace to catch almost 240 more innings than last year.
  22. Most people probably don't care because it's incredibly easy to get a free Apple TV trial to watch the game. There's some people here who feel everything is worth complaining about that make up a vocal minority because most people just don't care enough to even mention it.
