  1. Just to make it clear, I want the Guardians to win the WS. I want the Dodgers to win the NLCS.
  2. It's okay for you to cheer for whoever you want! I'm personally rooting for the Dodgers to win this series because I want the "beat the Brewers in the playoffs and you go to the WS" crap to be done with
  3. His home-road splits aren't as bad as you'd think. I did a deep dive on this after Jack and Spencer mentioned him as a possibility on the podcast. Here are his home/road with RHP/LHP platoon splits over the last 3 seasons. Home vs RHP - 87 wRC+, .332 wOBA, .331 xwOBA, .437 wOBACON, .435 xwOBACON Road vs RHP - 114 wRC+, .336 wOBA, .353 xwOBA, .426 wOBACON, .455 xwOBACON Home vs LHP - 105 wRC+, .359 wOBA, .344 xwOBA, .442 wOBACON, .417 xwOBACON Road vs LHP - 39 wRC+, .225 wOBA, .259 xwOBA, .285 wOBACON, .339 xwOBACON He's been good against RHP outside of Coors with very good underlying numbers. He can't hit LHP to save his life outside of Coors. I think he could be a great addition if you view him as a 500 PA a year guy sheltering him from LHP a bit and using him as a late inning defensive replacement at 3B/1B. I'd be willing to give up Tyler Black and maybe a couple lottery tickets if they were willing to eat some of McMahon's contract. Black can grow out his beard and be their Charlie Blackmon replacement. But also like you said it's just impossible to know what to expect trying to trade with the Rockies.
  4. 3rd time through tax got Skubal today. It's funny because people still talk about Snell being pulled and it not working, but does it get talked about when you stick with the starter and he falls apart like today?
  5. It really depends on the day/team. You have players ranging from A to young MLB players. I'd say AA on average is probably about right.
  6. Do we think this speaks to a big DSL class coming over?
  7. Average relief pitcher was referring to Elvis Peguero not Devin. Devin, Peguero (average relief pitcher), Black and Lara (two big arrow down prospects)
  8. I can't even watch that series because Costas play by play is so lifeless.
  9. Jeferson QueroJacob MisiorowskiJesus Made Great chance of being #1 on this list 9 months from now.Cooper Pratt Still not entirely sold on his power output, but his defense looks legit. Plus athlete for his size.Robert GasserYophery RodriguezTyler Black Lack of defensive position and poor underlying numbers in AAA cause the big drop.Braylon Payne Could be a big riser in 2024. Double plus athlete flashing big EV in his short stint in Carolina.Mike BoeveLuke AdamsEric Bitonti Could be a riser in 2024 if he can clean up the swing and miss. Best raw power in the system.Craig YohoLogan HendersonBrett WichrowskiBrock Wilken Down year and I question how good the underlying power metrics look. Hopefully he bounced back with a strong AFL stretch.Josh KnothBishop LetsonBryce MeccageK.C. 10. In the NL. In the AL the teams with a bye were 3-1 coming into this season.
  11. It really sucks we didn't beat the Mets. I know the Phillies were 4-2 against us, but I think our pitching matched up very well against their LHH heavy lineup. Much better matchup than the RHH heavy Mets lineup was.
  12. Morel is not a free agent and most definitely is not a 3B.
  13. Hogg said it was $20 a month for the Dbacks this year, $100 for the year, and $200 a year for MLB.tv+Brewers
  14. Childers is getting absolutely shelled. 5 batted balls against all over 100 EV. No whiffs yet.
  15. Will Childers statcast data incoming
  16. Looks like almost every game is live streamed this year. I count 25 Peoria games listed on the live stream list.
  17. Looks like the Brewers will be available through MLB.tv going forward!
  18. Just seems unlikely that Black is in the plans at 3B anymore considering he only played 9 games at 3B this season.
  19. I don’t know when Wichrowski hit 100. Must have been during spring training in the backfields because I don’t remember him touching that hard during an actual game.
  20. I doubt the Brewers would view Miranda as anything other than a 1B/DH. He has -12 OAA in nearly 1200 career inning at 3B.
  21. Bregman has some major red flags that I'd feel way more comfortable steering clear from. 1. His walk rate absolutely cratered last year. His lowest BB-rate since the 2017 season was 11.0% in 2021. This year it was 6.9%. 2. He went from a huge plus hitter against FB to a below average hitter against FB. His run value against FB was +11 in 2022 and +11 in 2023. In 2024 it was -2 with a .343 xwOBA which is 40 points lower than any non-2020 season outside of his rookie year. Maybe he was playing through an injury this year or something but wrong side of 30, cratering BB-rate, and decline in quality against FB feels like a red flag for anything more than a short-term deal.
  22. And I already see people on twitter saying that Clase was potentially tipping pitches
  23. Edwin Diaz has also stunk. Strahm and Hoffman have been bad for Philly as well. Hader choked for the Astros as well.
