  1. Horrible from Hoskins. 2-0 and he swings at a pitch at his ankles.
  2. I think the decision is super easy that Tobias is done before Lindor comes up a 3rd time. Lindor has seen him well tonight and absolutely destroys pitchers the 3rd time he sees them with a 202 OPS+/wRC+ (can't remember which one)
  3. Also puts him behind in the count.
  4. Just absolutely horrible AB's from Hoskins, Frelick, and Ortiz. Ortiz saw 1 strike in 5 pitches but he swung 3 times.
  5. I feel like if Nimmo had more urgency in LF there that he might have had a play on Sanchez at 2B
  6. Adames swing path is completely out of whack. He's been a pop up machine in this series.
  7. And we already have a defensive miscue one batter in. Just unreal.
  8. And it turns out Contreras is hurt. That sucks. Do not feel great about Sanchez defense behind home plate in a do or die game.
  9. Here are Myers numbers with Contreras vs Sanchez catching him. Contreras - 3.26 ERA, .230/.283/.369 slash, 22.8% K-rate, 6.5% BB-rate, 1.2 HR/9 Sanchez - 1.72 ERA, .267/.307/.397 slash, 20.5% K-rate, 6.3% BB-rate, 0.86 HR/9 Better ERA and HR numbers with Sanchez catching but worse slash line and worse K/BB rate with Sanchez catching...idk is Contreras hurt? Sanchez is also worse framing and blocking than Contreras and similar at pop times.
  10. This should be linked to 9:00 minutes which is right before the Garrett Mitchell HR. If not just go to 9:00.
  11. Would be awesome if Ortiz, Adames, Contreras, Hoskins, Sanchez showed up tonight. For the most part that group has been really bad this series.
  12. He hasn't been as good but I thought he looked extremely good against us last week. He had his season high in strikeouts in fewer than 5 IP. He gave up 2 ER but he looked really good for the most part.
  13. Chourio has always been ready for the big moment.
  14. Parking lot opens 3 hours before opening pitch and gates open 2 hours before opening pitch. So 3pm for parking and 4pm for gate.
  15. Brewers have a chase rate pushing 35% tonight and 2 walks in the series. They just aren't playing Brewers baseball.
  16. It's one thing in the regular season. In the playoffs it's inexcusable. Especially from a supposed team leader.
  17. Contreras not running hard down the line is absolute garbage
  18. Getting Turang in is extremely important. Basically would be a soul crusher not to score.
  19. For a team with mediocre SP and great BP pitching, did we get it wrong not utilizing the bullpen more? Like if we don't come back and win/get the lead then Joel Payamps will be the only RP to touch the mound with a lead.
  20. Through 4 innings the Brewers have 1 batted ball that wasn't a ground ball or pop up (the Chourio HR to leadoff the game). Hard to score runs when you're not hitting line drives and fly balls.
  21. Why is Montas still in this game? Murph is managing this like it's a random June game and not the season on the line.
  22. Brewers just decided to stop playing Brewer baseball in the playoffs. **** defense. Not utilizing speed. No wonder we are getting our ass kicked.
  23. We can be serious and call Chourio botching an 85% catch probability liner and Payamps not covering 1B as errors even if the archaic error system doesn't consider them to be.
