    Misiorowski's command is not MLB ready. Asking him to go 3-4 innings in the MLB is just not feasible.

    The face he still has a negative FIP after 18 innings is absolutely absurd. Most dominant reliever in the league.

    That's going to be a black stain on Stearns trade record with the Brewers. Pretty much nobody liked that trade at the time especially those who had seen Olson pitch for the Timber Rattlers. Olson would look amazing in our rotation and is pretty much exactly what the rotation is missing.

    Man Chourio just is so overmatched most AB.

    Rea and Wilson are two of the biggest xERA overperformers this year. It's not bound to continue. Wilson is overperforming his xERA by 2.19 runs which is 3rd most in the MLB minimum 100 PA. Rea is overperforming his xERA by 2.00 runs which is the 6th most in the MLB minimum 100 PA. If/when the regression comes for those two it's going to hit hard. Brewers simply have a bad rotation. They don't strike out many batters. They walk a bunch of batters. They give up a ton of HR.

    Wilson to the rotation and everyone else in the pen shifted up a spot on the leverage rung with Williams hurt definitely has hurt the back of the pen. Plus you have injuries to guys like Clarke and Bukauskas who would be those end of the pen guys if healthy. The depth has really been tested. Honestly might need to DFA both Vieira and White and try someone new. Preferably people with options.

    Hopefully umps don't give him 4 strikes in multiple AB every day the rest of the series.

    Bauers has been insanely good since he ditched the leg lift and when to a toe tap. Obviously a really small sample, but if he chases and whiffs less he's going to be a good hitter.

    I know it's a 5 run game, but Perkins not getting to 2B on that ball that got away from Grandal seems to be a growing trend of him having very poor reads on the bases.

    If you keep the ball in the park and don't give up free bases you're not going to give up many runs in the MLB.

    I think Keller has been incredible tonight. His stuff is up a tick and he's been on the edges all game. I genuinely believe the Brewers have been pretty good at the plate tonight. They just can't sequence the hits together to save their life tonight.

    If we are giving up trade capital for a SP, I would rather target a SP with control who we might actually want to pitch in the playoffs.

    Down East unfortunately does not have live feeds. Pretty sad stuff.

    Honestly I think it's potentially tilted from balanced to pitching heavy especially if Tyler Black graduates this year. Completely agree on the need for more power bats. The system is really devoid off big power guys for the most part especially in comparison to other systems. AAA - nobody really, also hope we eventually get to a point where AAA is filled with prospects/optioned former prospects. Kind of tired of the AAAA minor league FA filled teams AA - Wilken, Clarke, Martinez Jr A+ - Adams (maybe Fernandez?) A - Pratt and Yophery maybe? ACL - Bitonti Definitely would prefer more power bats.

    I hope he sucks until the trade deadline so the Cards can't get anything for him then he goes on a tear after the trade deadline pushing the Cardinals out of contention for the #1 overall pick.

    I can't believe Contreras wasn't go straight heat against Goldy with Megill. Goldy couldn't keep up to 94 earlier in the game and you have a guy who throws 99-100.

    Hanging isn't really about location. That was a back door slider that just leaked over the plate.

    If Ortiz or Chourio did what he did it's a tie game.

    Chourio needs to be held accountable so we are pinch hitting him in the biggest spot in the game is certainly some sort of logic.
