  1. And lock in is what Yoho did. He struck out the next 3 hitters on 13 pitches. 6 swings and misses to get those 3 strikeouts.
  2. Yoho walks the leadoff hitter in the 9th inning on 5 pitches. The misses weren't close. He's going to have to lock in.
  3. Shuckers load up the bases with 1 out in the Top of the 9th in a 4-4 game and Dylan O'Rae strikes out swinging to make it 2 outs. He has not fared well after a very aggressive promotion to AA. He's currently sitting at a .511 OPS
  4. The bad hitting and baserunning in Carolina has made it's way to Wisconsin. Areinamo hits a line drive single to tie the game then gets caught in no-mans land between 1st and 2nd and gets out in a rundown. What should have been 1st and 3rd with 0 outs turned into 3rd with 1 out. Wood and Garcia then both struck out to end the inning.
  5. Feels like it would have to be for a controlled pitcher if we were willing to trade Black right?
  6. Brock Wilken with his 2nd HR of the night and it's only the 5th inning. Sounds like 110 EV, 400ft based on the Lookouts broadcast. Safe to say he's totally back
  7. I just noticed Tyler Black is playing 3B today. Interesting stuff. Is he trade bait at this point or are they going the poor man's Zobrist route like some have wanted?
  8. Carolina open up game 2 with a leadoff single then double to set up 2nd and 3rd with 0 outs. They don’t score any runs in the frame.
  9. He was good. Was getting a lot of swing and miss and called strikes. I think this was probably the best he’s looked from what I’ve watched him. FB was mostly sitting 92.
  10. Brock Wilken with a 105 EV, 407ft HR to LF off a 96mph knee high sinker in the 1st inning. It’s safe say he put his struggles behind him.
  11. Mudcats lose game 1 of the doubleheader on another out on the bases. 1-0 final score.
  12. Now it's Yhoswar Garcia's turn to have horrible baserunning. He reaches 1st on a bad throw that the catcher was backing up. Garcia tried to reach 2nd and was easily out. Some very untypical sloppiness from the Mudcats since the second half of the calendar flipped over.
  13. Some questionable baserunning from Guilarte in the 4th. Guilarte was on 3rd with 0 outs and he stayed at the base on a weakly hit ground ball to the 1B line for the pitcher. With a RHP there would have been no chance of a play at the plate. The next hitter hits a chopper to the drawn in infield and Guilarte heads for him on this one and was out by multiple feet. 0-0 through 3.5 innings.
  14. Di Turi just took a 3-0 neck high pitch that was somehow called a strike then grounded out to 1B on the next pitch. Went from 1st and 2nd 1 out to 3rd and 2 outs. One of the worst strike calls I've ever seen.
  15. Because they haven't done their midseason update yet. The only changes have been inserting prospects when someone graduated (and when Barrios was traded) and to move Pratt up because they re-did their Top 100 list last week.
  16. Well our DSL wunder-trio have started today 3-3 with a 1B, 2B, HR. Made singled and Pena doubled him home. Anderson led off with a HR for Brewers 2.
  17. Honestly would fit like a glove. Misiorowski was ranked 24 by Longenhagen and Knoth was ranked 26 by Longenhagen. Hill is ranked 24th.
  18. Civale and the Rays faced Skenes and the Pirates on 6/23 and the Rays came away with the win 3-1. Hopefully that can be replicated today.
  19. Still think it’s a stupid change. Not exactly fair that 2 teams come from a 20 team league and 2 from a 10 team league
  20. That doesn’t really matter for Nashville anymore right? Don’t they just take the best record in the entire International League in each half of the season now regardless of division? I thought they made that change last year
  21. The system has been so much fun to watch this year. Biloxi finally playing good baseball (full season record is 1 game under .500). Wisconsin and Carolina have been amazing all year. ACL has struggled but as by far the youngest team in the ACL that was expected. The DSL teams have been better than anyone could have imagined. Outside of the injury bug there really has been nothing major to complain about this season other than Biloxi not having a CF camera for a third of the year.
  22. Wiemer just flashed some bat control I wasn't aware he had to hit a soft liner to CF for an RBI single on a breaking ball that was well outside.
  23. Joey Wiemer is stupidly locked in right now. Would be awesome if this great start to July was the start of him figuring things out
  24. Actually it was the Arizona Fall League of that season.
