  1. I don’t know if this is just a one year thing, but he has a .689 OPS with a 36% K-rate against LHP this season.
  2. By my math no. He hit 172 days of service time today. Even if he hadn't, I'm not sure burning his last option year would be worth it.
  3. 2-2 with how the Brewers offense played in this series is a blessing. 17 runs in 4 games at Coors is not very good. I worry the early season power the Brewers flashed is just never coming back at this point. Through the game tonight the Brewers are 19th in HR, 21st in ISO, 25th in barrel rate, and 17th in hard hit rate.
  4. Craig Yoho continues to be a very nasty pitcher. Probably my favorite pitcher to watch in the system right now.
  5. That swing decision from Hoskins was horrible. You're up in the count 2-0 and you swing at perfectly executed curveball on the outer black? It's honestly probably past the point where he needs his playing time cut.
  6. Luke Adams with a grand slam. An absolute line drive laser beam that barely cleared the high wall in LF.
  7. Not that Henderson is being hit hard or anything, but his lack of faith in his slider is so apparent on nights like tonight where his FB isn't as sharp as normal. Feels like every AB has been a grind today because that FB isn't getting the swing and miss.
  8. Hall's defense has been lackluster in LF tonight. That's 2 doubles for the M-Braves that probably should have been held to a single.
  9. With Curt Hogg reporting that this will be Hall's last rehab start, I feel like I don't want Hall in the MLB. His rehab assignment has been very unimpressive even with the velo slightly up. I just don't think he deserves to be in the MLB over any of the 13 pitchers on the roster right now (assuming Civale replaces Junk)
  10. Absolute moon shot. Breakout season for Areinamo.
  11. Still getting used to spelling Adamczewski? Looks like you copy and pasted it over haha. That's Josh's 1st professional HR so congratulations to him!
  12. Colin Rea has made 17 starts this season (2 of them being as a bulk RP). He has gone 5+ IP with 2 ER or fewer in 10 of those 17 starts and then has a 6 IP, 3 ER and 5.2 IP, 3 ER game in there as well. He's just been rock freaking solid.
  13. Rea's got the juices flowing a bit tonight. He doesn't hit 95 on the gun that often.
  14. Tyler Woessner's AAA struggles continue tonight. Just horrid command since he got promoted to AAA and the velo continues to be all over the place.
  15. I was surprised to see him brought back out to start the 6th. His max pitch count coming into today was 76 and he threw 92 pitches today.
  16. He was 8 PA shy of qualifying come into today so probably about a week of playing every day and he will become a qualified hitter.
  17. Aidan Maldonado comes in for the save for Carolina and 2 pitches later it's a tie game.
  18. Unfortunate that the Rockies had the most pitchout non-pitchout to snag Turang so we didn't get a 2-run dinger from Yeli there.
  19. The great - KC Hunt has 7 strikeouts during 3 shutout innings The not great - KC Hunt needed 60 pitches to get through said 3 shutout innings
  20. Areinamo just hit a HR off 10th overall pick in the 23 draft, Noble Meyer. He's having such a good season.
  21. Heck people on this site were clamoring for us trading Yelich earlier this season when he got off to that hot start so we could get off his contract.
  22. Have to feel good for Jesus Rivero having a nice start today. Zero BB and zero HBP is a good day for Rivero. Let's see him build on today and have a good second half of the season.
  23. Down East not knowing it's 2024 has prevented me from seeing a Reece Walling HR and that makes me very sad
  24. No Pratt in the lineup today. Is he on his way to Wisconsin?
