  1. I never said they will be worse. I just disagreed with you comment saying "they can't possibly be worse"
  2. Shouldn't that also apply to the guys on the MLB roster that you want to replace?
  3. Also just realized Payne didn't play in either of the DH games today. Is he hurt as well?
  4. Looks like Adamczewski might have gotten hurt when he crashed into the wall in LF after his catch as I don't think he's played a game since then?
  5. If they have real talent and hit tools then why have they stunk it up in AAA to start the year in both surface level numbers and underlying numbers?
  6. It could most definitely be worse. Williams and Pratt are hitting just as bad as the current left side of the infield and they are doing it facing AAA pitching.
  7. Even though the Brewers are 8-7 there are some pretty concerning areas that aren't related to Chourio/Vaughn being injured. 1. The left side of the infield looks really bad and Williams and Pratt have given little reason to believe they can help fix that in the near future. 2. The bullpen is a mess. Megill, Uribe, and Zerpa have all seen their stuff drop off considerably compared to last year. Koenig is hurt. 3. The OF depth looks to be a problem. Even when Chourio returns, they don't look like they can absorb Mitchell getting injured.
  8. The Brewers having a terrible series and getting swept by the Nationals in these ugly "City" Connect uniforms is certainly not going to help the already negative fan opinion of these jerseys
  9. Kind of funny how different opinions can be because I feel like Zerpa has been very underwhelming so far. I know the ERA looks fine but the 11% K-rate, stuff being down, and underlying numbers are quite scary. He had issues putting hitters away in KC and it's a reason why he never really pitched his way into a leverage role there.
  10. Do not love that 5.9% whiff rate from Letson
  11. Not ideal to lose a game to the Nationals when your manager manages it like a playoff game from a pitching perspective.
  12. Tough start to the year for Letson. Goes 1.1 IP in both starts. Seems to be really struggling to throw strikes.
  13. Oh no. Ibarguen started coming in on a ball that landed near the warning track. What should have been a sac fly turns into an RBI double. Salem's announcers are saying how unimpressed they have been with Wilson's defense this week especially compared to what level of A ball team Milwaukee typically puts out. It makes sense. This is a really young team that is also quite a bit thinner in terms of prospect quality compared to what we are used to seeing from our A ball team.
  14. Nats spread out the LHH a bit. Those 4 are hitting 1-3-5-7 today. They alternated L-R-L through the first 7 hitters.
  15. Cubs fans are incredible. Counsell is getting a ton of backlash online for pulling Imanaga who had a no hitter after 6 innings. They already have 3 SP on the IL with 1 done for the year and fans are pissed that Counsell pulls the guy who had 100 pitches through 6 innings and no chance of finishing the game.
  16. I assume that 50th EV is the median batted ball EV and not savant's EV50 which is the average of the top 50% batted balls?
  17. I have him 12th at 45 FV and I’m struggling to justify putting him higher than that just because he’s a 1B/DH. These are the position players I have above him - Dinges, Lara, Fischer, Pratt, Williams, Pena, Made. Outside of Fischer all of those guys project as up the middle players at the MLB level and Fischer at least currently is a step above Burke on the defensive spectrum as a 3B. I rank based on projected WAR like Fangraphs does so I really value the ability to play up the middle.
  18. Burke really feels in a class of his own when it comes to power hitting prospects with the Brewers right now. I’m struggling to think of the last guy that had this type of raw and game power in our system. Maybe crazy but could it be Prince?
  19. I feel conflicted because I don’t like the choices that brought them to the color scheme and I don’t like Wisco but I feel like the jersey looks pretty good seeing the players wear it.
  20. As much as I dislike trying to make the whole lake blue thing (like the Bucks) and orange a thing and also dislike the Wisco thing. I don’t know anyone personally who calls Wisconsin Wisco, I thought the jerseys looked quite good in that video which I wasn’t expecting.
  21. Hamilton has 17 DRS and 6 OAA in 687 career innings at 2B. I think he's plenty comfortable there.
  22. Ashby warming with the Brewers down 3-0 when Woodford has thrown 1 out in the month of April is so on brand for Pat Murphy
  23. Walking Monasterio 3 times in 4 innings is disgraceful pitching lol
  24. I remember when people were verbatim saying this about Durbin last year. He's a Top 30 prospect in our system. He's not some bum.
