  1. Ginger liked a tweet I had saying Lake Central is just the Brewers domestic academy
  2. Episcope seems like a Woodward type pick. Buying the stuff despite the injury risk. Had TJ as a senior in high school then internal brace surgery this year so double elbow surgery guy already
  3. I don't think you should be expecting a singular big swing. Solid chance the Brewers spread the money around and get a bunch of high school guys
  4. Might as well chalk this kid up as a 2028 Brewers Draft Pick
  5. We just don't know as much at the time. At the time Payne seemed like a huge reach but he clearly wasn't a reach now and we also know the Dodgers were on him if he fell to 23 so we wouldn't have had another chance to get him.
  6. Losing the pick still sucks a bit and at the time I thought we gave up more than Priester was worth, but if Boston offered the same package back to us for Priester today, I wouldn’t take it.
  7. Yeah I was going to say the same but you beat me. Injuries will probably take care of itself. Plus it feels like it's pretty easy to manage too many pitchers with things like piggy backs.
  8. Ignore the steal of the draft thing as this is Coastal Carolina's Director of Analytics but it's an interesting thread on Morrison
  9. I think Fischer, Ebel, Morrison will all be underslot. Thompson will be somewhere near slot and I'd guess Cairone might be a little bit over slot.
  10. Missed 2024 because he had TJ surgery
  11. JD Thompson feels like a very Brewers pick after some research. Low release fastball with good ride so it has a good VAA.
  12. If Sal goes on the IL, Perkins can be recalled.
  13. Yeah I was thinking we are somewhere around $1M underslot through 2 picks with Fischer around $750K and Ebel around $250K under slot though with Ebel I really have no clue.
  14. This is cool. Brady Ebel was with the Dodgers this week and took BP at AmFam
  15. Thought Spencer thought Ebel would be overslot in the 2nd round not at 32?
  16. How far underslot do we think we will be after the first two picks?
  17. Seems like an underslot pick a la Wilken in 2023?
  18. Did Baltimore buy Irish down? He was a pretty consensus Top 10 guy based on draft boards I saw.
  19. Yes @Joseph Zarr you're fine! I misread your comment and thought you were spoiling Cunningham being picked. My apologies.
  20. Nevermind. I mixed up the name Witherspoon and Cunningham. False Alarm.
  21. Yeah it doesn't seem like anybody knows what we are going to do based on the mocks and frankly with how off the mocks have been through 8 picks, they might just have no clue with this draft.
  22. Joe Doyle is out of hand man. He's spoiling these picks way too early. Please don't spoil picks in this thread.
  23. Crazy that Hernandez is almost 4 months older than Ethan Dorchies who has 43.1 professional IP and currently is rocking a 1.66 ERA with a 32% K-rate in A ball.
