    Think you could maybe even see Herget get DFA'd at some point and Henderson being added for the same reason to get some MLB innings.

    That's a great shout on the Patrick front. That seems far more likely than Misiorowski or Yoho being added at this point.

    Think the 2024 Misiorowski/Yoho train has sailed. Misiorowski has only thrown on 1 days rest a single time and it was a blowout outing where he couldn’t throw a strike to save his life. With the Brewers headed to the WC series, really no point in rostering a guy who likely can only pitch in 1 of the 3 games. Yoho has looked like he’s hit an IP wall. Stuff definitely not looking as sharp and command not looking as good the last week plus.

    Criminal that he was still in A ball. If he was in the Padres system he would have been in AA a month ago.

    Surprised they brought Holub back out after how shaky he looked in the 8th.

    Holub might actually blow this. He can't throw a good pitch to save his life right now.

    Brock Wilken was about a half step away from grounding into a triple play after O'Rae and Pratt reached on a BB and HBP. Instead it's a double play removing both O'Rae and Pratt.

    I honestly feel so bad that Hudson isn't there to celebrate with the team.

    That's the difference between him hitting .300 in the minors and hitting .260 in the MLB.

    That literally goes back to what I said earlier about the Brewers knowing Haase isn't remotely a 155 wRC+ hitter...

    Bauers has an 84 career wRC+ compared to Haase's 87. They are very similar level hitters. Sanchez is the guy who should be getting more DH AB's with Haase filling in at backup catcher.

    Likely because the Brewers FO and coaching staff are smart enough to know that Haase is overperforming at the plate and with more playing time would just regress to his actual level. The guy has a 40% K-rate and a .444 BABIP. As for why Bauers plays over Sanchez who knows.

    Exactly what I thought. Was a lazy play where he didn't get behind the ball likely because he didn't think Harper would try and tag.

    Minor nitpick, but Mitchell needs to get behind that flyball better. He had no chance on Turner but seemed like he kind of assumed Harper wasn't going to tag.

    Lara with a 2 RBI single to pull the score within 2. The go-ahead run is at the plate in the form of Cooper Pratt.

    I know Jesus Chirinos has some pop in has bat, but man that's a really tough spot to put him in considering he hasn't played in a game since 9/8.

    An MLB hitter striking out in an AB where these are the 6 pitches he sees is just really bad lol.

    Because someone was repeatedly ripping on Estevez yesterday for foolishly not putting Molina in to give us the 3-4 scoreless innings

    Just feels like piling on Wood because he didn't make a tough play. Molina's appearance was simply disastrous. Not only did he give up a run without getting a single out but he was so bad that he only threw 9 pitches in doing that bad forcing Dikember Sanchez into the game with what was likely an extremely abbreviated warmup which could have played into his poor outing.

    It cost them maybe a run. There were 0 outs and they just had a single which would have been a 2 run single to make it 5-1. No need to single out Wood. Mason Molina cost them this game with a disastrous relief outing.
