Horrible AB from Luke Adams who doesn't take the bat off his shoulders. Probably should have struck out 2 times. 4 pitches all strikes. One was called a ball.

Luis Lara has had a playoffs to forget. He has a .053 average and a .125 OPS.

After the Areinamo leadoff double, Yophery swings at a chin high FB and doesn't even come close. Really bad AB.

Nobody said he would be playing SS here. You're just saying that he's a serviceable 2B based on his defensive numbers in 369 career innings at 2B which is not how you should be looking at defensive metrics.

It's a 369 inning sample. Way too small to read into. His -39 DRS and -59 OAA in 6000+ innings at SS are far more evidence to his defensive quality than 369 innings at 2B.

I would definitely not prefer the Braves. The Brewers struggle against LHSP and the Braves have the NL Cy Young and Max Fried to throw at us in a potential series.

Brewers starters 2 times through the order in this series - 10 IP, 8 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 14 SO Brewers starters 3rd time through the order in this series - 0.2 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 2 SO Basically what we already knew. Our starters cannot see the order a 3rd time in the playoffs. The pen being in shambles forced the hand in these games but come the playoffs we cannot let them see the order a 3rd time. -
Cornielle gave up a roped single to CF to open the 4th but followed it up with a ground ball double play.

Bringing Cornielle back out for the 4th just feels like a total punt from Estevez. Trying to preserve the pen for Game 3 because he knows this offense is being mostly dominated by Wilkinson.

Eduardo Garcia strike out on 3 pitches. Wilkinson has made him look very bad in his 2 strikeouts.

Oh man I wish I could say I did that intentionally to poke fun at you but it was just me somehow getting the LHH mixed up in my head with RF for LF.

Cornielle gives up a 2-run bomb to LF off what looked to be a hanging breaking ball. 3-2 Lake County.

I think Estevez needs to have a reliever up for Bazzana if he comes up this inning. Cornielle should not see the order a 3rd time.

As we have gotten deeper into this game, I have to say the more frustrated I've gotten with the quality of the Lake County broadcast in comparison to the Wisconsin broadcast which is one of the best in all of the minors. The CF camera angle is really low. The score bug is too big and disrupts the view a bit. The camera quality isn't great. They don't show the at bat count, velo, pitch count, pitcher/hitter names.

Pratt hits a blast to deep center field and the Lake County CF makes a jumping catch at the wall. Wasn't going to be a HR, but that's likely a triple if he doesn't make that grab.

Cornielle gets a weak chopper hit back to him for an easy out at 1B. 1-1 as we head to the 3rd.

And Cornielle walks the bases loaded. Some extremely bad misses. He's up to 48 pitches still with 1 out to get in the 2nd.

A 2 out single to LF and Vargas with a really poor throw to 3B. Would have been an out with an accurate throw. Runners on the corners with 2 outs.

The Jheremy Vargas experience in LF is not enjoyable. Just took a routine flyout in LF and made it look extremely awkward backpedaling into the catch.
