With today's game he's 9.2 innings over last year's total. Not 20. At least try to get your numbers close to right if you're going to have a fit.

Unless he's injured, he will most certainly not be completely shut down before the end of the season

When you misidentify a sinker that has 18 inches of arm side movement for a FB that has 6 inches of arm side movement you might take a pitch that you thought was going to be inside but ended up well over the plate.

Brewers definitely drew the unfortunate schedule in terms of that.

It never ceases to amaze me that many who criticized Durbin because he wasn't good his first 50-60 MLB PA now get so mad that Durbin loses some playing time to someone who hasn't been good his first 50-60 MLB PA.

Which is part of a 17 in 17 stretch. It's certainly a tough schedule in terms of lack of off days from June 1st to the end of the year. You have two 17 in 17 and a 16 in 16. Also have 2 week long west coast road trips in a span of 3 weeks.

He's been extremely good as a RP his whole career. If Brewers just let him focus on being a multi-inning reliever he could be a great weapon.

Agree. I think 30 makes sense. 2 extra pitchers and 2 extra position players.

Just noticed they also have a 17 in 17 from June 26th to July 12th. So that's a 16 in 16 and two 17 in 17 stretches during the season. Brewers have as many off days in March/April and May (10) as they do in June, July, August, and September combined not counting the ASB.

Pretty brutal August and September schedule. From July 31st to the end of the season the Brewers have 5 total off days with a 17 in 17 and 16 in 16 stretch.

I'd say no. Don't think he's an upgrade over Monasterio as a bench RHH IF. Plus we all know Urias can't hang defensively at SS like Monasterio can. Replacing Seigler a LHH with Urias a RHH wouldn't make much sense.

Can Yoho really eat innings? He's gone 2 innings just 3 times this year. McGee is a former starter and has gone 2 innings 11 times this year.

I'd take McGee over Yoho right now

McGee is up to eat innings not close games and Yoho would be nowhere near leverage innings in MLB.

Personally I think multi-inning relief weapon is his best role because I don't think his command can hold up as a SP unless he improves it.

Misses middle-middle or is wild and puts hitters into hitter counts where they can just sit on a pitch.

Just can't believe Murphy let Woodruff pitch this into a leverage situation on a night when you are probably down Megill and potentially Uribe.

Strike this. With Woodruff going 97 pitches today, I'd bet Gasser starts on Saturday to push Woodruff and Misiorowski to 5 days rest for the last two starts of the 19 in 18 run.

Interesting. I'm sure they have their reasons. Just weird to see as Frelick was really locked into that leadoff spot for a long time there and has hit really well in the leadoff spot.
